Review 1：We booked our trip on Booking.com and it stated that we had a ocean view, king bed, premier suite, wifi and safety locker where included. Upon arrival we received a construction facing dated room, with two twin beds, no wifi and a safety locker that we had to pay for. One of the main reasons we selected this resort was because it said this was Family Friendly resort, which could not have been furthest from the truth. If you have Kids there is only one kiddy pool that has murque water, and adults sitting around smoking, even though there is a signs around saying NO SMOKING. When I spoke to the staff, they told me sorry there is nothing they can do about it. The kids center says that it is open between 9am and 5pm, but during our stay it was never opened, during the time share meeting this was a surprise to the representative as well, because when he went to check on it with us he found that it was closed as well. Also, for restaurants you ONLY have one option besides the buffet if you have kids, Seafood. All others, you can not bring kids with you. Staff, honestly here I have mixed feelings. Some of the staff was absolutely GREAT, but others like (Christopher) at the lobby bar looked like he did not one want to be there and two would not serve you unless you tipped him minimum $5USD.

Review 3：The hotel is more like a 4 stars +. The biggest drawback though is the location - it's near the river bank and the water though is not as crystal clear as you expect from Dominican Republic. If you walk extra 500 meters though, it's great. Free wifi is only available in lobby for 1 hour / day. Rates for the wifi otherwise are hideous - one week is ~ 50 u.s. dollars.

Review 4：Food was good, the hotel is also quiet if you choose to live in a more distant room. Staff is friendly, everything is really clean. Rooms are +- fresh.

Review 7：The food is recycled, tasteless and often cold during the week. It appears that food is prepared one day a week either Friday Saturday or Sunday and is then reserved until it runs out. The 3 dinners for a four night stay can easily turn into one dinner because the hotel overbooks, you must reserve by 10 am the prior day and you can only do it by contact a person face to face in the lobby but don't feel bad the food was not great at the French restaurant and the menu limited. Go with someone you like , otherwise you will be bored!
