Review 5：stuff are friendly and helpful. hotels in Heidelberg is usually quite expensive. It is quite cheap, and it only take 20 mins to Heidelberg center by tram. Also free parking, perfect!

Review 7：Everyone was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was excellent and there's a direct tram to the city centre of Heidelberg. When you step out of the hotel, you will find a supermarket and various cafès and restaurants within walking distance. Internet worked perfectly.

Review 9：On the drive across Germany to stay at the Hotel Traube my college age daughter became very ill with a kidney stone. It required her to spend a good part off the day at the Heidelberg Hospital. We contacted the hotel as we were suppose to check in by 6 pm and we were clearly going to be late. The owner was not only understanding, but arranged our room key to be left in their lock box outside. Our room was huge and just what we needed. The next day they held breakfast late for us and allowed us to have a very late check out as my daughter was still far from 100%. We could not have been better taken of.

Review 12：The hotel parking was small and at higher hotel occupancy it is full fast. Then you have to search for parking in neighbour streets (not that bad). The interior of the hotel is a bit outdated and the bed was too sof to our taste. Please, replenish the food during breakfast faster - this was really poor choice (no cheese/salami/vegetable, just the rest of fruit salad some yougurt and sweet pastry)!
Review 13：The hotel staff was very helpful and speaks fluent english. The room was spaceful and quiet, eventhough it had windows into the street.
Review 14：The couple who run the hotel are friendly and very helpful. We had a second floor room with a balcony which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and although the hotel didn't do dinner, there's a traditional German restaurant and bar just around the corner which was brilliant.
Review 15：room was very small, bed was uncomfortable, TV was old style and tiny (I did not switch it on at all), the fixation of the TV at the wall right above a small table was dangerous (hit my head 2 times) very noisy (main road)

Review 21：We booked apartment in the hotel. The apartment was extremely spacious, sunny and convenient. It was spotlessly clean. The owners are extremely nice and polite. The hotel is located in a quiet area only 6-7 km from Heidelberg‘s city center. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Strasbourg. It takes only 1.30h to get there. We highly recommend this hotel.

Our Sat Nav found the hotel no problem. Approx. 10 minutes from the A5. We had a parking space in the courtyard but parking might be a problem when all the rooms are full. Breakfast very good. Rooms clean. Wi Fi good. Good value for money. Bars and restaurants near the hotel.

Review 62：The Hotel Traube is an exceptionally beautiful older hotel. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. When we arrived we were given an upgrade to an apartment, which gave us a lot of room with a balcony. The breakfast room is large and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of cold meats, cheeses, fruit, cereals, fresh rolls etc.There is a tram within 2 min. walk which takes you to Heidelberg if you don't wish to drive. It is close to restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay there again.

The cleanliness of the room was excellent, the breakfast was good and the animals were amazing (I'm referring to the dog and cat of the Reeves family - very friendly and playfull). Also, the location was perfect for us and there are 2 supermarkets near by (Penny and Edeka) and one shopping mall (3 stations with the streetcar 23).
Review 68：Our room was spacious, quiet and well furnished for a traveller's comfort: good lights for reading in bed, TV, table, sofa, desk, plenty of closet space, extra pillows. The bathroom was exceptionally large, with shower, bathtub, and two sinks. All was pleasingly decorated. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The owners acted as welcoming, attentive hosts, which gave an added warmth to our stay.

Review 70：Our stay at the Hotel Traube was truly lovely, the owners and staff could not have been more friendly and supportive.The hotel is well ordered and scrupulously clean, the rooms are well sized and the beds so comfortable ( this is a crucial point for me). The hot water supply is endless, the showers are are great and everything in the room and on suite bathroom are to the highest standard. The other good thing about the hotel is its location, near enough to Heidelberg to get there easily and far enough away to get away from the tourists and over priced restaurants in the city centre, the local eating places gave good food with excellent service at reasonable prices.

Review 78：The stay was excellent and best of all the hospitality. Every hotel, whether commercial or private, can learn a thing or two about hospitality from the Hotel Traube staff. They kindly upgraded us to a suite and gave us directions to the places we needed to go. They lent us maps to the Heidelberg Zentrum and provided a wonderful breakfast buffet. I plan to stay here again when I'm in the Heidelberg area.
