Reviews for Seehotel Binz-Therme Rügen

Review 1:The Reception staff in general are not friendly, other than some exceptions who were quite nice. The hotel is officially in Binz, but almost at the very end of Binz.

Review 2:Very close to the Beach although not so close to the Binz center.

Review 3:The Hotel caters mostly to retirees. The wifi was pretty weak. You have to pay an additional "kurtaxe" which amounted to an extra 10 euro per day for us.

Review 4:The spa was great and free. The restaurant was prety good. Nice location by the sea and the standard was good, even if a bit dated.

Review 5:Absolutely loved our stay. We were celebrating our 4tb wedding anniversary. We booked two massages, a couples bath, and facials. The spa staff as well as the hotel staff are amazing. We were one of the youngest couples (I'm 39 and hubby is 48) the resort was quiet and just out the back door is the clothing optional (FKK) and textile beached with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Beautiful experience for two days and one night. They decorated our room with flowers and champagne with chocolate. You get tickets the the various activities around town for free or a reduction in cost as it's considered a resort community with thermal healing bathing and sauna services. You could travel with a bike just about everywhere. Beautiful.

Review 6:- breakfast although very good is way too expensive and a lot of food is wasted (not a pretty sight) - the hotel itself is clean (or clean enough), but it's apparent that it is quite old: the furniture, the toilets, the facilities around the swimming pools (we found the showers there rather disgusting) - definitely not a 4 star facility (i don't know about the hotel rooms, but the apartments are also a bit too of age to be considered 4 star superior) - the fact that the "free parking" was hundreds of meters away in an unpaved forest (if I had known) - the address on the booking webpage is unreachable by car, the poor gps was trying to take us on the pedestrian walkway where not even bicycles are allowed - at least from house 4 and 5 you get to the spa area via the public road (very annoying indeed) - the playground is "underpowered" in comparison with the neighboring hotels - although strand hotel, it's relatively further away from the sea (other hotels are almost on the sea, which can be nicer)

Review 7:- the indoor swimming pools are good - there's a fitness room - the Schwebebad gives you a unique experience - the apartment was better than expected - the breakfast left no wishes unfulfilled - some of the employees were friendly, helpful and patient - access to the garden area from the first floor apartments - the rabbits were a nice attraction for my son - surprisingly good WiFi (the best I ever had in Germany)

Review 8:breakfast too expensive, service at dinner catastrophic, staff at restaurant so-so friendly; some might find pool too hot, esp. in summer (32/34 Celsius thermal water)

Review 9:great location, perfect for children, nice spa, close to beach and playground

Review 10:A queen bed was advertised but we got 2 singles. It would have been nich to have been offered WiFi at reception and not had to walk there and back.

Review 11:a minutes walk from a long beautiful beach and plenty of opportunities to relax in the hotel.

Review 12:It is a long walk to the city center. Wifi did not work properly. Many shops in binz does not accept credit cards, really bad actually

Review 13:Close to the beach. Very nice beach. A lot of restaurangs. Well equippet apartments. Binz is in general a clean and calm place. Hotel information in swedish

Review 14:I liked everything :-)

Review 15:The sunny days, the cooler nights, the wonderful sandy beaches and the withe houses and villas. The fantastic and fresh fish dishes.

Review 16:Rooms and hotel is clean but dated. If you are assigned a room on the non-ocean side be aware that the wifi route may not reach your room (it did work in our room). If you need wifi, ask before you accept the room.

Review 17:Great location on the strand, the mineral baths, sauna, pools and facilities were a plus.

Review 18:Spa is too crowded and cold.

Review 19:Location is great.

Review 20:Spa and wellness center are in building number 1 and to go there from other buildings you must walk outside or go through the garage

Review 21:Super Gesamtpaket ...

Review 22:breakfast overpriced

Review 23:spa facilities

Review 24:WiFi didn´t work on day of arrival

Review 25:Awesome Breakfast Buffet

Review 26:Very expensive breakfast option

Review 27:Location, pool and spa, fully equipped kitchenette

Review 28:Lack of parking space in the vicinity of apartments forced us to use a remote forest parking

Review 29:Fairly spacious, well equipped, decent lovation

Review 30:Sometimes was a problem to find person speaking English.Whole Rugia Island is a typical place with German tourists. It was first place in Germany when its diffucult to communicate in English.During stay at resicence I tidied up my room/Service is available after moving out/.I did not about it earlier.

Review 31:Hotel is very close to sand beach, just over the promenada.Fantastic conditions for bikers.Varrious breakfast.Nice swimming-pool.Spacoius apartment,

Review 32:Bureaucratic Poor quality of the building Rigid food system (no flexibility) - and unsustainable waste No service but mass administration Even though we booked a suite and we had an 85 year old travelling with us, no effort was made to provide appropriate parking (adequate facilities were all around and underneath the entire complex - yet we had to park in a forest nearby) Staff generally showed no interest

Review 33:location (not the building) thermal spa Breakfast selection

Review 34:The fridge did not work well, we did not receive any information about all possibilities in the hotel, no additional blankets in the room, no welcome drink (bottle of champagne) as advertised.

Review 35:Cleanliness, sauna options, great staff. Good value for the money.

Review 36:Breakfast for additional 16 EUR per person per day Parking for additional 5 EUR per day

Review 37:Excellent location Unlimited free use of Spa Comfortable, clean and fully equipped apartment

Review 38:Just wish the reception staff and organization would be better. Check-in was OK this time, but check-out was a joke. And we've had issues before. I'd recommend the hotel for the facilities, but beware of that the staff is lost should they need to make a decision on their own.....

Review 39:We have spent 30+ nights at this hotel over the last 4-5 years. The SPA facilities are outstanding which is why we keep coming back.

Review 40:The people and the location; 10 minutes by foot from the ICE terminal station at BINZ meant we could travel the whole journey from dover kent in one day by train, arriving relaxed and able to enjoy the holiday from day 1.

Review 41:A great find. It is about 8 blocks from the main pedestrian area whichis why I rated location as good instead of excellent. But we liked notbeing in the thick of everything - it was an easy walk/bike ride. Ibooked this hotel 9 months ahead of time based on cost per room. I hadquite forgotten what I had booked and it was pure success. We needed tworooms for my husband and two older daughters. We shared the ground porchwith ourside table and chairs which was perfect. The hotel had massageservices, 5 saunas and 3 mineral/salt pools. We were in heaven. We atelunches on the promenade but decided to have dinners at the hotel. Itwas a huge buffet with good food. Absolutely indulge in the localschnapps from the Sanddorn fruit. We rented bikes in town, great path toSassnitz. My daughters voted this their favorite German location duringour two week trip (Innsbruck, Mittenwald, Munchen, Berlin)

Review 42:the parking fee is really a joke. okay, if you want to charge for the underground garage, i guess that's okay, but coercing people for 5 Euro so they don't have to walk five blocks to the forest (really just a remote, dirt parking lot surrounded by trees) is ridiculous when you really have plenty of parking in front of the place. silly, annoying charge.

Review 43:right on the beach, but not too close to the schlock; everything was within walking distance if we needed it (pretty much true of the whole town), yet we had a lovely, quiet location and didn't need to leave if we did not wish to. thermal baths were lovely; room had a nice kitchenette ... we plan to come again.

Review 44:Restaurant is expensive.

Review 45:The thermal baths and saunas are great.

Review 46:every thing

Review 47:nothing

Review 48:On the whole every thing is quiet okay.

Review 49:Close to the beach, friendly staff, spa included for guests;

Review 50:Very comfortable room! Very close to beach!

Review 51:The saltwater pool!!!!
