Review 1：On this return trip, I received personalized care from Familie Klein for my needs ... essentially to explore the area, relax, and enjoy a superb dinner. Familie Klein were excellent hosts, projecting a sincere enthusiasm for their guests.

Review 2：The hotel's location in the Black Forest, the hotel's food and the hotel's owners made our stay a memorable one. The proximity to the Black Forest's trails gave us quick access to go hiking. The owners, Herr and Frau Klein were very friendly and you tell they enjoyed managing their hotel. Herr Klein is a wonderful chef, creating two delicious meals for us. We do plan to return.

Review 3：There was a discrepancy between the Impression I had of the hotels by the photos on Booking. The angle of the photo gives the impression of a fancy castle style hotel with large green surrounding and a big swimming pool. In reality it is more modest to say the least.

Review 4：The room was a good size and had two large windows and a beautiful geranium decorated balcony. The view to the mountains around is lovely. I also liked the closeness to the woods. The breakfast was excellent and the family that runs the hotel are nice and welcoming.

Review 5：Very friendly staff. Very helpfull. Nice simpel breakfast en tasteful diner. Its located a bit far from the highway bit its worth the trip through the landscape. Very clean! We will come back for a stop if we travel to italy again.

Review 6：The hotel owners are very nice and they would offer whatever help you need. Owners had advise me my routing so I could move to the my next stop faster - saving I believe 2/3 the time of my original plan - I dont drive, all the way there is using train and bus. If you have plan to visit Schiltach and Triberg, it is located in the middle. Like me from Schiltach, it takes 1 transfer in Schramberg, total ride using less than 30 mins. Last of all, I enjoyed my dinner and especially breakfast. Good value for money!

Review 19：The hotel is run by an enthusiastic, nice German couple who gave you a very warm and welcoming stay. They offered us very useful travel tips in the local area. We had a great day out and tasted the best Schwarzwälder Kirsch Torte in the area. Dining in the restaurant of the hotel is something that you should never miss. The husband of the German couple is the chef. He must have been a chef at a six-star hotel. Firstly the breakfast was well served with a tasty boiled egg which was not precooked. For dinner, we ordered a chicken main course which was served with green salad. The salad sauce was home made, perfectly balanced between the taste of sweet and sour. The chicken was just well, crispy and spreading a good smell of meat and barbeque sauce. But the best part of the course was the rice and green beans, lovely soaked with juicy sauce but not softened. The good taste of food keeps lingering in our thoughts and will keep pulling us back to Germany.

Excellent selection in bright breakfast room. Good choice of lunch/dinner menu in spacious restaurant. Easy parking. English spoken.
