Review 10：The apartment we stayed in was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. We had a warm and friendly welcome. The location had good main road access and there is a nearby lakeside walk.

Review 14：Change in payment method - On my booking it clearly said Cash only, pay on arrival. But 4 days before I was due to arrive there I got e-mail from Booking.com to say the property was trying to contact me because I needed to pay online 5 days before arrival. Not easy to do when cycling up the west coast of Denmark, with v patchy wifi access.

Review 28：Upon arrival in the late afternoon, there was not a single B & B person to be found and since I do not have a "Danish" mobile phone, after 30 minutes waiting, I finally had to ask people on the street to call the phone number that was attached to the door. I was told that the key was under the doormat. Denmark has a strange way of locking doors and since I did not know that and had no instructions, I could not lock the door and had to load up my car again to go out and have dinner. Later, the owner [I assume] showed up and demonstrated the locking of the door to me. Very, very strange ineed. The next problem was to make payment. There was no-one around in the morning and I had only EURO and cards to pay. I left without paying and had my host at the business that I was visiting call the B & B to say that I had not escaped without paying ... and how to pay? My business host then exchanged my EUROS into the local currency and I drove back to the place to deposit the payment in Danish Kr in the mailbox. Unfortunately, I did not get a receipt since no one was there to issue one and I cannot add the expense to my report of the trip to Europe. Also, the lamp over the bed did not work and neither did the heating in the main room [bathroom heat was Okay!], All in all, very, very disappointing and probably the last time I will try to "save" expenses. If anyone has a way to issue a receipt or get the owner to do so, please!!!!!
