Review 1：It didn't have any courtines, so that it compromised the comfort.

Review 5：I prefer staying at guesthouses vice large chain hotels. The atmosphere is more homey and comfortable, where in large chain hotels it's just repetitive. The restaurant here was very good as well for both breakfast and dinner.
Review 6：Staff very impassive - they hardly smile to you. Bed sheets a bit shabby and worn out. Too pricey for a two star hotel. Poor wifi. At breakfast tea cups were missing, food choice was poor and the landlady was cleaning the tables with a loud noise while we where still having our breakfast, as if she wanted us out from the mess hall. She was smashing and bashing the cutlery like crazy. The parking lot is long narrow strip of land which makes it hard for parking, especially for SUVs.

Review 9：great location, you can walk to the church but quite far for walking to red robin house. clean room and large room. breakfast is very good, there is omelette, ham, cheese, bread, milk, cereal,yogurt, salad(only cucumber and ... I can't remember) you can park the car around the guesthouse.
Review 10：Being a family of four with two small children, we booked a junior suite. To our disappointment the suite was double booked and we ended up in two double rooms, which was very inconvenient as both my children wanted to sleep in the same room as their mum! Also, the mini croissants were very tasty; it would have been nice to have got more of those for breakfast!

Review 22：It felt like being hosted by caring friends! The staff was very helpful and accommodating and would drop whatever they were doing to respond to our requests. The food was abundant and exquisite. Very comfortable beds. Rooms were decorated with furniture that seemed to stress the "home" feeling rather than the standard "hotel" look. My whole family did not want to leave at the end of our vacation time.
Review 23：This hotel is located in a beautiful mountain valley. Within a very easy walk to numerous shops and restaurants. The hotel has an excellent breakfast with a large selection of items. The fresh fruit was marvelous. The décor is a well maintained view of the past with photos and books located throughout. The room was very comfortable and quiet, we were not distracted at all during the night. WE would definitely stay here again!

Review 26：We understand that many Bavarian villages traditionally ring church bells to mark the time so our only problem was that we were over tired and forgot to close the window of our room and therefore didn't enjoy the cultural practice nearly as much as usual. To be truthful this is hardly a problem for most people but if pushed to highlight any concerns this would be it.

The staff were nice, the breakfast plentiful and the location was just right. Further the restaurant next door.... Pizza Passionata....was fantastic! The bedrooms felt like comfy hotel rooms and the common areas felt more like you were in someone's home (which I liked over a sterile hotel feel). They also have mementos from the Passion Play displayed (like photos from the years the owners were in it). It is centrally located for walking to all the sites in Oberammergau.

We stayed in the junior suite (which has two bedrooms) - which was perfect for us. The two rooms were decorated in romantic style and were very clean. The bathroom is new and modern with a big tub and a big shower. The house is located in the center of Oberammergau. I wish to come back to this place.

Review 111：The owner or someone on staff smokes heavily and although the rooms are non-smoking the smoke was so thick that after 3 hours of keeping the rooms door closed and windows open the smell was still there. I'd caution anyone who is sensitive to smoke to stay here.
