Reviews for Casa Mariñeira Lourdes
Review 1:Lack of facilities such as kettle ie no means of a drink when we got back to the hotel in the evening.
Review 2:Room was lovely, with large balcony overlooking the hotel's vineyards and sea (slightly in the distance), location and family that run hotel were lovely! And their wine!
Review 3:tv - sound did not work and could only tune in one channel.... But that's not what we went for!
Review 4:Location was perfect - 2 minutes to main plaza with restaurants and monument. Apartment was well equipped although we never cooked there. Very clean. Parking readily available. Boardwalk and bay, just a few feet away.
Review 5:We found the bed extremely small and quite uncomfortable. Breakfast is very simple, some fruit, cake and bread but that was expected in Spain.
Review 6:Friendly service and the surrounds we're lovely. The room was also very clean.
Review 7:Mobiliario insufrible.
Review 9:They had problems with their internet provider so wi-fi was only available in public areas and then it would occasionally get dropped.
Review 10:Enjoyed the farm like atmosphere with lots of space without having to pay the price of a parador. The staff was very helpful even with our poor language skills.
Review 11:The bathroom could have been better with a bidet installed, but that really was a minor inconvenience. The rest of the facilities were of a high standard and there was plenty of hot water with good pressure, so really no complaints!.
Review 12:We were welcomed in a most friendly manner with the obvious attempt to make us feel at home. The Parking area is very conveniently located to the entrance for ease of luggage handling, although the staff insisted on helping. The room was spacious and both it and the bathroom were well-furnished and spotlessly clean. There was good attention to detail with even a useful clothes brush in the wardrobe! We really enjoyed the large covered balcony with views over adjacent vineyards to the interesting town of Cambados and the Ria, just a short and pleasant walk away. There is also a fascinating Wine museum and information office just round the corner. Casa Mariñeira Lourdes is thus an ideal place from which to explore on foot. The final word goes to the delicious breakfasts served in the small bar, where fresh bread, homemade cakes and pastries accompanied slices of ripe melon and other fruits.
Review 13:We rented an appartment on the first floor facing to the back and side looking at the harbor. The ceilings and walls seemed to be noise amplifiers rather than block noise emissions. Thus very unfortunately the noise of the renters of the two appartments on the second floor was very annoying. With closed windows to be precise. In one of them there was a bunch of young fellows that partied literally every night. In the other appartment there was only a family.
Review 14:Very nice, clean and adequately equipment appartment with its two bathrooms and comfortable beds in terms of softness. We arrived very late, but still very nice reception at check-in.
Review 15:Noisy rooms, where you hear your adjacent neighbor's tv, as well as the ones from across the hall. Tiny shower cabine causing you to hit either the sides or the thermostat, neither of which is a pleasant experience. No hearty breakfast, just jam as spread. When we enquired about a nearby laundry salon, they offered to do it for a fee.. which turned out to be 30 EUR for just one bag. Although advertised as "rural", there was little which could qualify the "renovated farm" as such. The parking entrance is only for the brave hearted (little over 5 cm on either side of my BMW)
Review 16:Large rooms which are spotlessly cleaned daily. Excellent WiFi.
Review 17:I think the rooms should be better isolated. You can literally hear the people next to your room and when other guest and coming/going from their room. I did not sleep properly the two nights I was there. I am not sure if it was due to the noise/mattress however
Review 18:The hotel is very well located, only 5 minutes from the city center and close to the vineyards. It is managed by a friendly family always keen to help you and make you feel at home The hotel is very attractive and makes you feel comfortable. Very new and recently refurnished
Review 19:The family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful with advice and directions. The facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. I liked the personal touches to detail that make this hotel more homely than many others.
Review 20:The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to get information for us.
Review 21:all very good
Review 22:Nothing.
Review 23:The service was outstanding. We felt like we were home. Also the surroundings are gourgeous! Best place in galicia so far
Review 24:Sound proofing could have been better. The 5 euro charge for breakfastcould have been mentioned upfront.
Review 25:The location was fairly peaceful and rural but it was a very easy walkinto town. Only one of the staff spoke English but they were all veryfriendly and helpful.
Review 26:We loved Cambados , the location, the food ,the people were all extremely friendly, the history.and everything seemed good value for money. We stayed in the Casa Marineira Lourdes Apartment, which was perfect. The Staff were exceptional and made our stay one of the best holidays we have had for a long time. We would definitely return again
Review 27:No TV stations in English; no laundry facilities. We had been traveling for four weeks so had a lot of laundry- did wash in the sink and hung up clothing on their line so worked out OK, but would have even paid to have them wash our clothes if was a possibility.
Review 28:The staff was Very nice and accommodating! Couldn't have been more helpful. Met needs and always kept the room very clean! Room was big enough and had a nice patio although was bit too cool to use it. Had a great view or Cambados and the sea as sat up very high on the hill. Breakfast in the morning although cold was ample and good. They varied fruit and pastry every day.
Review 29:if driving, getting into the parking is a bit tight
Review 30:tranquility, the young lady was very helpful
Review 31:nothing
Review 32:We loved everything about this place. The food, the service and lots of nice surprises.
Review 33:Hotel is a hidden gem - took a while to find it but was pleasantly surprised. Family run hotel and everyone was so friendly and pleasant.
Review 34:Great location with very friendly and helpful owner and staff.
