Review 1：And on the other hand there was another staff member (older lady) who was on the late shift and it seemed to us that she was not keen on doing any added work.
Review 2：Lady who was at reception was very nice and helpful. Went out of her way to make us feel comfortable.

Review 4：The lady at the reception was very friendly. We broke a small glass tumbler but she did not charge anything for it. Hotel is situated in a nice calm place and has a lovely front yard. Parking was not a problem.
Review 5：If possible, request a room on the first floor! The bathrooms on the second room floor have a slanted ceiling right above the shower making it impossible to stand up! I had to employ some bathroom yoga to take a shower.
Review 6：The staff was really nice and courteous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Wifi was great, we had no problems streaming movies on several devices during our stay. There is a wonderful lounge area to the side of the reception area that has books, boardgames,cards,a flat screen t.v., and a side door. The hotel is a just a few minutes away from from the downtown area of Triberg and even closer to the parking lot for the Triberg Waterfalls!
Review 7：My only negative insight to this is that there was so much snow around the area and our kids just dove in. One of the male staff yelled at our kids because they were all over it. Then told one of our families that they are other guest. It was morning around 0900 or so and we had occupied 4 rooms. The other guest where fine and enjoyed the kids. They where not loud just wanted ti dive in to the beautiful white snow.
Review 8：I loved this hotel. The lady at the front desk who spoke the most English welcomed our family with a huge smile. She was courteous and was always available when needed. She gave us helpful information regarding activities around the area. She was just delightful and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. They had a sitting area where we enjoyed a night of reading, chess, cards, and relaxation where we drank some beer and wine. Atmosphere was great! A vacation it truly was!

Review 12：the hotel is at the end of a dead end street, so no traffic noise or danger to the children. clean, comfy, a good continental breakfast, and the owners are a nice couple, the husband speaks very good english. didn't eat at night in the restaurant, but had a few drinks. overall very good.

Handful of restaurants in 10-15 minutes walking distance. If you plan to arrive after 6 p.m. be sure to call and let them know. Would stay here again for a weekend trip to Black Forest!
