Review 1：The owner was not friendly towards our family the morning of check out. The beds smelled and looked like the sheets had not been changed in a long time. The mattresses were not comfortable. The wifi was not very strong and we had to sign a contract for the password. The breakfast was limited and not fulfilling for our family. Upon checking out, we were informed the hotel did not take credit/debit cards. We had to leave our passports with the owner to go drive to the ATM to take cash out.
Review 2：The location was great for visiting Triberg.
Review 3：The lady there is racist and she dealt with me in a very bad way. She was not helpful in answering any of the questions as she replies with the minimum answer that anyone could understand. The breakfast was extremely bad and the towels were unclean. The bed smells awful as it was not cleaned before we arrived.

The city of Schonwald as well as theother towns in this area are exactly what you would expect to see in theBlack Forest. The whole experience was amazing. I only spent 3 days inthe black forest but made it a point to come back.
Review 13：The older lady was very rude and racist. She treated my friend and I with blunt disgust for checking in late. She gave us a room with no hand soap and stated we should leave by 10 am. Next morning, we noticed that she was very friendly to Caucasian German speaking guests. She was cold and aloof towards us. When it was time to check out, she stated cash only and gave me a very disparaging look. We drove to the next town while she held on to my passport. I returned, paid, got my passport and never looked back. I have never been mistreated a hotel guest and discriminated upon because of my skin color.

No access to breakfast room as it was downstairs, but wasmore than compensated by having the dining table in the room as it was asmall appartment, Beautiful views, didn't want to leave.
