Review 3：If you donpt like to be in the crowd then this is your hotel. Up on the hill at 1050 m hight where the road ends. Good overwiew all over around. Nice staff and confortable large room (we got a triple with balcony). Good food at the restaurant as weel as for which concern the breakfast. Many paths start from the hotel crossing the forest. Reccomended

Review 11：This was our second stay at this hotel and it was as wonderful as the first time. Staff are brilliant, food is excellent and the rooms are fantastic. Added to the stunning views over the Black Forest, it makes it a place you want to return to.

Review 15：The room had curtains and exterior blinds that made the room really dark. This is a plus when it only gets dark at 10-11pm and sunrise is around 4 am.
Review 16：I need WiFi to stay in touch with my business. I was assured all rooms have it. After we unpacked I realized room doesn't have WiFi. They moved me to another room. Next to the office that had a weak signal. It was OK but not more than that. Sometime no signal at all, so in that respect it was frustrated.

Review 19：Although the drive to the hotel made it seem like it was in the middle of nowhere, it was well worth it. The area around the hotel was breathtaking. The view from the tower is well worth the climb up the stairs. The room was spacious and clean. I loved the small balcony and view. The restaurant was handy and delicious. The breakfast was very good.

Review 60：Although it didn't bother my husband or son at all, I found the bedsto be a bit hard and the pillows to be a bit uncomfortable. We were theonly guests staying at the hotel. This was not a drawback at all...itwas kind of neat! Even the innkeepers were only there in the morning forbreakfast! It is obviously an off peak time for the hotel, although itwas beautiful with all the snowy trees. The breakfast room had a fewcobwebs and a bit of dust, but I think that was only because of the lackof use. Our room and the hotel overall was spotless.

Just ashort drive into the somewhat industrial town of Furtwangen. At first wewere a little disappointed with the look of the town, but it quicklygrew on us! It is a real German town - not touristy at all. Had awonderful dinner at the Hotel Bad in town- the staff was so friendly andfood was good. Great little candy store / cafe in town, a nice drugstore where we got some good deals and even a supermarket that was openuntil 10 pm! Very good central location for touring other areas of theBlack Forest. Much better than we hoped for and would definitely stayagain and highly recommend!

Review 75：This hotel has the most amazing view of the black forest. Its on a mountain top and surrounded by the forest. You can go for walks in the forest or sit on the deck with a drink and enjoy the view. The staff are very friendly and the food is great. Overall the favourite part of my holiday.
Review 76：It's on the mountain with beautiful view when the fog is gone. Westayed three nights, it was always foggy with poor visibily. There isnothing to buy or eat near by so we ended up having two diners at thehotel. They charge for bread which we didn't know. When we ask forbutter for the bread, we were charged two portions. The diving wasscenic but takes time. If you don't have much time and have a lot onto do list, don't stay there.
