Review 1：immediately on entering the room, which was mant to be a suite, but just one large room sparesely funished there was unmistakable smell of bad drains from the bathroom, which obviously hotel was aware as there were two aroma sticks / jars in bedroom / bathroom to mask this smell but could not do so. When advised reception no other suite of similar quality available. Other Romantik hotels were stayed in Italy offered better level of service and room, value for money.

Review 5：those are small bits which are a bit off for 4stars: - breakfast at bed must be ordered before 8pm using the order form in the room. Unfortunately, no order form was in the room, nor any notice of this arrangement. Then, it couldn't be arranged at 11pm anymore. - breakfast itself on the basic german side, which makes me wonder about the previous point - no toothbrush nor paste available on request (albeit, this mustn't be a room item, it is a must for any hotel this category to have on stock) - double bed is two mattresses (not very romantic, nor comfy)

Review 14：While the goulash for dinner was excellent, it was very conservative on the actual goulash - lots of noodles, salad, but just three or four tiny pieces of meat. The goose leg was a much better proportioned meal.

Review 18：Organising a wedding party next to our room, keeping us awake all night. Hotels are above all about getting a good night sleep. We didn't sleep a single minute! Apparantly the hotel manager organises this kind of parties every weekend. So, he should mention it clearly in his brochure/website and don't fool people into a so called 'romantic stay' while getto-blasting music is shouting all night. All the more because a stay at Romantic Burgkeller doesn't come cheap.
