Reviews for Hotel La Arquera
Review 1:this is the 4th time we've been here, it has been modernised since our visit last year and they have done a fantastic job, you always get a very warm welcome
Review 2:As other reviews noted, the rooms are uneven--we were given a small room with only one small window; I complained, and the staff found an alternate room for a bit more, but which was much nicer. There was an unpleasant odor of pesticide that lasted for over a day. And--the biggest drawback, perhaps: next to this "apartamento rural" is a major highway! The noise is unfortunate. Finally the distance to the beach isn't great, but in an ideal world it would be nice not to have to drive everywhere.
Review 3:The garden is lovely for small children, and the views of the mountains are quite extraordinary. The staff were very accommodating. We paid more than we had wanted to, but in general we were quite happy with the experience.
Review 4:This place really is like their photos which is not always the case in my experience. Large room and kitchenette. Would gladly recommend as it is top notch! Don't rely on GPS to find it though. There are signs on the road to guide you.
Review 5:Food available in the evening would be a nice extra but restaurants a short drive away..
Review 6:Very good all round, staff available if you needed them but left to your privacy. Clean and comfortable rooms Secure parking.
Review 7:only breakfast available onsite but supermarket very close and able to get a meal within 5 min. drive.
Review 8:Secure parking, nice grounds, very friendly staff. Large room with kitchen and very clean. Made very welcome on arrival.
Review 9:great location, close to the beaches and just 30 min from Picos de Europa area. Rooms are large (we had cooking facilities as well) and very clean. Hotel facilities include a private garden with a playground for children

Review 17:Beautiful gardens, lovely reception area, clean
Review 18:The mattresses were foam, so offered poor support and eventually gave us both backache.
Review 19:The location was easy to find and very private, altlhough close to the town for all that that had to offer. Private off-road parking meant our vehicle was very secure and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Review 20:Beds were uncomfortable to sleep. Also it would be nice to include the kettle to the room kitchen to make some tea. Car is strongly recommended.
Review 21:Good spacious rooms with interesting paintings and nice furniture. Excellent decorated lobby, a large garden with growing tomatoes and fruit trees. Our room had a kitchen with fridge and all necessary utensils. Supermarket with good selection of local food is 5 minutes by car.
