Review 1：The owner was very helpful during all booking process, for instance providing us with a PIN code for late arrival, or making sure we had everything for breafast, but his final blunt reminder that checkout was at 10 left me with wrong feelings on departure. Also, note this is the middle of the forest: WiFi is correct but slow and mobile phones do not always connect.
Review 2：Nice hotel, we had a family room, with a separate children bedroom. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and affordable.

Review 4：The room included a small desk, TV, a standard sized bed and a huge wardrobe. There were enough accessible wall outlets for all my portable devices (phone, tablet, laptop), and both the room and the adjacent bathroom were bright and clean. The hotel is located quite deep in the forest, a good ten minutes by car from Bad Dürkheim. This is not necessarily a bad thing though, as the surrounding forest area is quite beautiful and well-suited for hiking.

Review 6：Hotel was extremely comfortable with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The owners were very helpful with bus schedules. Very nice and quiet area.
Review 7：The location is a bit spooky. Internet is constantly breaking. When we entered the room it was clear someone smoked inside despite the sign not to. There were little black hairs on one of the towels in the bathroom and one of the shower doors was very flimsy.

Review 30：This hotel was on the outskirts of Bad Durkheim (a short drive). We were3 friends traveling together and their triple room was perfect. In factthe room could sleep 3 adults in single beds and 2 children (in a bunkbed) very comfortably. The additional single bed and bunk beds were in aseparate room. This made it very convenient for us as our friend had herown space. The breakfast was excellent. The owners (a young couple) hadeach table set with all you could want for a continental breakfast.However, they do offer eggs and bacon etc which they make for you. Allthis is included in the room rate. The room was very clean and quiet.They are on a main route but there was not much traffic on it and ourroom in the back was quiet. I imagine the front is ok also as thetraffic was sparse after dark. The wife speaks fluent English whichmakes your stay easier. They do offer a dinner menu but we ate in BadDurkheim. I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting Bad Durkheim.It could not be beat for the price and is a short drive out of town.Make sure you drive far enough out of Bad Durkheim as there is a similarhotel on the left before this one. This hotel is on the right justbeyond this first look alike hotel (driving from Bad Durkheim. They alsoback up to a lovely forest and I believe there are walking trails there.You must go up one flight of stairs to get to the rooms.
Review 31：After arrival and good friendly check-in we drove into town for somesightseeing and dinner.As we had driven a few hundred kilometers andwere tired we wanted to have one drink and retire for the night as wewere continuing our journey to Switzerland early in the morning.Arrivingback at the hotel approx at 8 pm we in a very unfriendly tone that thebar and restaurant facilities close down at 8 pm.(No Exceptions!)Iconsider this quite unacceptable as the hotel is after all far fromdowntown Bad Duerkheim!

Review 33：Arrived the day of a wine festival in Bad Durkheim and the hotel's restaurant was closed. We were helpfully recommended an alternative nearby and a reservation made for us. Hotel was clean and comfortable and convenient for motorways. Breakfast excellent.
Review 34：We arrived 18:30 after a long drive from Calais and all we wanted was a drink and a meal before we turned in, only to be told they were closing. We then had to drive further on to get a snack from a Netto supermarket as most other restaurants we were directed to were either closed, full or catering for private party. We were lead to believe from booking.com details that food and drink would be available.

Review 36：A wonderfully friendly hotel. We were made to feel so welcome & the kids were totally spoilt! The rooms are a nice size & very clean. The hotel is located in the forest with some great walks. The restaurant was only open until 8pm but there are a couple of restaurants about a minutes walk away.

Review 42：Good value for an expensive area. We had a very large room, clean and comfortable room, with a large balcony hugging the mountains. It was clearly off season, and we were the only guests at the hotel. But, the breakfast room was set as if the hotel was full, and a wonderful breakfast was prepared for us. This says a lot.
