Reviews for Kurpark-Hotel
Review 1:The hotel is old inside, furniture inside of room is old. Mildew in the showers. Hotel is not to the standards of a four star hotel. We have stayed in numerous hotels all over and this place is way over priced for what you get.
Review 2:Location
Review 3:all was good
Review 4:Very comfortable beds, plenty of room. We were in town for the Bad Durkheim wine festival - this hotel was the perfect location. Staff was very friendly.
Review 5:Compared to other nicely decorated facilities in the area this is big and has not that particular German style cosy atmosphere. It's a bit outdated and worn. I consider it -3 star standard. Definitely not 4 star.
Review 6:Fantastic breakfast buffet. Nice staff.
Review 7:We didn't have a bad experience but would have liked to be able to get something to eat in between breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. There are specific hours that food is served and in between you can't get anything but dessert.
Review 8:The property was in a beautiful setting close to the train station and Wurstmarkt Festival. There were little streets lined with stores and restaurants very close. The rooms were very clean and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Use of the spa was included and it had three saunas and a small pool. This was exactly the perfect property for a quaint town like Bad Durkheim. Wish we had more time there.
Review 9:the booking went wrong. The children weren't booked so that the prize at the and was double 280€ for one night in a not very nice hotel with a unloving breakfast in a smal town... Not what we have expected...
Review 10:the Bed
Review 11:Restaurant is a bit expensive but there are some other good ones nearby. No playground on grounds as it is shown on photos. - there is one close to the hotel though.
Review 12:Staff was super friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazingly rich. The Room was very clean and big ( kids get a free bed upto 5) and spa area is nice too! There is a small pool, quiet rooms, gym and 3 different kinds of saunas and showers. Nice and clean!
Review 13:We arrived at 5pm and got a smoking room (even though we asked for a non-smoking). The hotel was full by then and we had no other choice but to stay in that room.
Review 14:Staff was super nice.
Review 15:Used to be a family chateau with formal gardens. Now it is a hotel with pool and spa and a great breakfast. On the Weinstrasse and in a charming large-ish village with ped zones. Filled with excellently rated restaurants.
Review 16:Single room was so small and the bed was very bad for this type of Hotel. Parking very expensive . Room style like 30 years old. TV just in German and 1 canal in English .so poor
Review 17:breakfast was perfect : quantity and Quality reception was good Sauna and Swimming pool very good geografic Location was perfect
Review 18:No air condition at least not in our room. Wasn't an issue during our stay with outside temperatures of 25 to 26 degree Celsius in the afternoon. But might get one during periods of real hot weather.
Review 19:Located in the centre of the village. Restaurants and Shops in walking distance. Nice wellness area with small indoor-pool, fitness-room and Sauna. They have bicycle to rent. Friendly and helpful staff.
Review 20:On initial entry to the room it was very dark with all curtains closed and no windows open. It had a nasty smell from the drains which dispersed immediately the windows were opened. Poor first impression of room, otherwise it was very nice.
Review 21:Furniture, room layout and sheets nice and crisp. The minibar policy we liked although we did not have time to enjoy this. Everything one expects of a 4 star.
Review 22:Surly staff. If you're not German, don't stay there.
Review 23:Location.
Review 24:beautiful room, nice location, friendly staff
Review 25:The location in Bad Durkheim was excellent and the gardens were beautiful.
Review 26:We were given a room that faces the parking lot, there isn't a good isolation, so it is very noisy!!!
Review 27:Very well situated for the town. Good cheery staff. Breakfast. Car parking that is central to the town. On the edge of the Kurpark.
Review 28:The hotel is very old and has no AC, however i asked around and that is common in town. Apprently no hotels hace AC.
Review 29:The location and the town.
Review 30:The pool and gardens
Review 31:carpets in rooms - need replacing Perhaps timber????
Review 32:location, room with balcony,
Review 33:Meal prices were a little high
Review 34:Dining on site and around hotel. Staff was extremely helpful. Lovely gardens and facility
Review 35:Food was really expensive.
Review 36:The pool was great. The food was good. Good location with plenty of things to do around the area.
Review 37:parking expensive and should have been included in price.
Review 38:hotel and staff :good
Review 39:Can tend to be loud depending on where your room is located.
Review 40:Location, best breakfast in Germany, clean, good staff, laundry service
Review 41:I loved this hotel! It was in a wonderful spot in the center of the city. Close to everything. Had a great experience. Spa was free with hotel.
Review 42:No Air Con No WiFi Expensive Breakfast
Review 43:Staff Location
Review 44:Pool is small.
Review 45:Staff welcoming, room large and clean, location excellent - in the middle of the small town but with a pleasant park coming up to the back gardens. Room well soundproofed. Breakfast (including champagne) excellent, as was the evening buffet. Fitness room well equipped and maintained (needed it after all the food). Parking easy and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.
Review 46:No A/C in our room. Furnishings appear to be older and outdated. Casino bar did not have much selection of beverages and it smelled of smoke throughout entire facility even though there is a designated smoking room. Not all staff were equally personable and helpful.
Review 47:Beautiful external property, and great location for exploring the area. Wifi worked pretty well in rooms but was slow at times and had a bandwidth limit. We loved that we were able to rent bikes from the hotel and ride along the Wein Strasse and easily visit nearby towns and wineries.
Review 48:We booked this room at the last minute to attend the Bad Durkheim Wine Fest. The room was much better than anticipated and had a balcony with a view of the fest grounds. Despite being back at the room well before the closing time, the windows are soundproof; we would have never known there was a celebration less than ½ a mile away. There is plenty of parking and it is only seven Euros per night, a great deal considering the occasion of being there. The hotel was easy to find. The staff was wonderful and let us know everything needed upon check-in. We didn't take advantage of the spa or casino on premises but they are there and I have been told that both are top notch facilities. This hotel was perfect for our needs and the price was really great.
Review 49:Parking lot was tight, but adequate. No air conditioning in the room, windows only. 15 Euro for breakfast.
Review 50:Location was great. Stayed for the Wurstfest, was very close and verylarge, comfortable room by European standards. Free WiFi.
Review 51:The car park is quite difficult to get into if you have a sedan.
Review 52:This was a beautiful hotel. The staff were very friendly and the roomswere spacious. We have no complaints and thought very highly of thishotel. We recommend this hotel.
Review 53:The hotel is in the center of the walkplatz area, City Workers were setting up for a Fest of some kind- made if difficult to figure out where the hotel was. Circled the hotel 4 times before finding it.
Review 54:Large single room, very comfortable. Great wifi. Parking garage for 7 euro was a great plus. For a hotel, excepitonal sauna area. Fitness room is ok and swimming pool is more for kids than adult swim. Lot's of good restaurants near-by.
Review 55:Sauna only opens at 15:00 in the week, it doesn't state this on thewebsite, extremely disappointing when your holiday is supposed to be forrelaxation purposes, this constraint hinders daily plans.
Review 56:Friendly staff and central
Review 57:Extra charges apply when you want to use the Internet or to park your car.
Review 58:Spacious room with all facilities and free access to swimming pool and sauna area.
Review 59:No a smoke-free hotel. Carpets need replacement and certain room somere-design (paint)
Review 60:Staff agreed to change our room to a Non-smoking room since the smell ofcigarette was present. Well located
Review 61:Great location, spacious room, friendly and helpful staff.
Review 62:Toilet behind bathroom door.
Review 63:Champagne at Breakfast
Review 64:Meals a expensive.
Review 65:This hotel is right in the center of bad durkheim. Great location for the festival. Huge showers.
Review 66:Getting to be in need of a face-lift
Review 67:Clean and friendly
