Guesthouse Gästehaus Schneider sells fast on our site. This newly built guesthouse is located directly at the village square of Alpbach, offering views of the village and the surrounding mountains. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge.
Gästehaus Schneider offers traditionally furnished rooms and apartments with wooden floors, making them suitable for allergy sufferers. The large balconies provide views of the mountains and the entire village square.
In the morning fresh bread rolls can be delivered to the apartments and studios on request. A rich breakfast buffet with homemade bread is served in the morning. Guests can also sample fresh fruit and various egg dishes including omelette, scrambled or fried eggs. Half-board is available on request in the restaurant next door.
A bus stop, ski schools, a ski rental and many shops and restaurants are very close to Gästehaus Schneider. Parking is available free of charge. Hiking equipment, toboggans, pushchairs and snow shoes are also available free of charge.
The ski bus takes you directly from the guesthouse to the ski lifts, the cross-country ski runs, and the ski school. Many hiking trails are nearby.
During summer season, you can use all cable cars free of charge and have free access to all museums. Free guided hiking tours are offered as well. In January, March and April children can use all cable cars for free. Sledges and snow boot hiking tours are offered for free in winter.

Review 1：Our host- Gitty was like family, the beauty of the area was amazing, and the food, room, and service at our hotel made us feel like royalty. So many free perks-bus to Rieth Ambachtal-tram ride up to top of mountain, etc.

Review 3：The place is situated near the center. The owner is always there and solve any problem on the spot. The owner is a worm person and will do everything that you will be setisfied.

Review 4：We were waiting at the door of the hotel for 30 minutes. Nobody in and nobody answered the phone. Then we were sent to another hotel that was quite older. One big spider woke me up in the middle of the night. The toilet was broken.

Review 6：The apartment can get quite hot during the day in the summer, a couple of split-air conditioners would be a nice addition. The TV screens in the room are too small, you won't see much unless you have perfect vision ...

Review 9：The environment is very nice and comfortable, and we have got excellent service from Mrs. Gitti, she was so nice and helped us to arrange everything well. We will keep staying here when we visit Alpbach next time.

Review 10：Gitti made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is extremely comfortable and could not have been better positioned. It was our first visit to Alpbach which is a very pretty village with great restaurants and we will definitely be returning.

Review 14：This place is spotlessly clean, I was travelling with my 13 year old son and girlfriend, we stayed 5 nights and were here to ski. We had a 2 bedroom flat, which had 2 bathrooms, good size double bedrooms, a big balcony which went all the way round and open plan kitchen/lounge. The flat is very well insulated, so is very cosy and when I say clean I mean spotless. The owner was great and very friendly, she told us about Iggys ski hire shop, which is where we hired our ski equipment; worth mentioning that if you pay cash at Iggys you receive a 10% discount. Do not book your ski hire equipment on line prior to travelling. They have a ski room downstairs for all your equipment. There is also a regular ski bus, which is a short walk, from Schneider. There is also a Spar super market for shopping which is a short walk. Alpbach is quite small, we ate out most nights, the Pizza place over the road was popular with my son, and is good value. We had a beautiful holiday in Alpbach, the waether was subliminal, the people friendly and Schneider lived up to its 9.5 rating, we would visit again.

Review 18：The hotel is super cozy, with a big room and a beautiful view. The owner was extremely nice and made us feel at home. The breakfast was also served by her and the food was delicious, perfect for skiing later.

Review 22：The owner was so friendly and helpful. She made the whole experience perfect! The apartment was very spacious and cozy after a long day skiing. It is situated perfectly in the town within walking distance to the grocery store and all shops. The ski bus stop is a short walk and there is private parking that accommodated our large SUV. The balcony views were amazing, and it was great having 2 large bathrooms for our family.

Owner was very good and polite, we appreciate the kind of treatment we received. Kitchen and Kitchenette were well equipped. The guest house is just 1min from Alpbach bus stand. It also has Good pizzeria opposite to guest house. WIFI was good and had decent speed.

She helped me to understand a normal Austrian farmer was making a living because I was always very curious about this. The guesshouse was wonderul and in a good location to view the mountains. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. It was a wonderful experience staying in this guesshouse and talking with the lovely hostess. Review 59：The Gastehaus Schneider is located in the most beautiful village in the Tirol. In summer there are wonderful walks and of course in winter skiing. The guesthouse is ideal for those who wish to self-cater but for others there are plenty of restaurants close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Owner very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Apartment very clean and well-equiped. Owner very accommodating over check-out time when you have a later flight. The best we have stayed in. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in a peaceful area which is also a good jumping-off ground for all areas of Austria with their excellent, reliable, transport systems. We will book again.

Review 62：Awesome hospitality, the owner lady was so kind from the first minute to the end. The room was spacious and cleaned up everyday. Breakfast was healthy and local oriented. We received tons of suggestions for walking paths, restaurants, mountain lifts, etc. which helped a lot. If i would go to alpbach again, i would stay in gastehaus schneider.

Frau Gschoesser did everything she could for us including organising a sleigh ride and was especially helpful with public transport too. We cannot even begin to explain how much we enjoyed it!!!

Fabulous welcome from friendly owner Kitty whoknocked down a derelict building to provide this luxurious block.She's charming just like her several apartment blocks. Don'tstay anywhere when this starts at 89 euro a night in January.
