Review 1：Unbelievable unfriendly to my dog. They are charging EUR10 for my dog and advertising they like dogs though, my dog couldn't stay in a breakfast room. And they even didn't excused for it. No signs of "dogs not aloud" but not aloud to the restaurant. This Hotel massed up my vacation.

Review 4：The breakfast was buffet with a large variety of food. The view from the hotel was breathtaking as the castle and river were just next to the hotel!

There are many cheaper places to eat in Meissen , but we had breakfast every day (mainly for convenience) : very good .Also we had dinner one night when it was not very busy and the chef sent us two extra (small) courses , which were free of charge and the whole meal was excellent in a glazed extension with superb views of the floodlit castle - an experience enjoyed by all. The hotel generally was very relaxing.

Review 7：The customer service at the Front Desk needs a lot of improvement. Very little English was spoken by the Staff. Were were all the 4* hotel amenities?Lack of room service or free water in the room. And Wi-Fi is not totally free if you have to pay from the second night onward... Too bad cause the place has a lot of potential!

Review 9：Unfriendly staff; poor cleaning service; without air, the room was very hot (25 degrees constant). The hotel is not family friendly, especially not with a baby. For the first time we wanted to end the holiday.Not worth the price!

Review 13：I have booked a single room for one night stay one week in advance my stay for an good price. but the room they provided is almost a penthouse room, with sliding triangle shaped roof. No proper lighting in the room. No plug points to charge your electronic device. ooh ya there is one point for the whole room that is located at 10 mts away from the bed. I have kept my laptop for charging in bathroom.. And for all this when I ask the hotel staff, the answer I got was, you would get this for what you paid. I am a regular traveller almost I spent 4nights in hotels of my week work. this is my first reveiw I am writing for any hotel until now i have stayed. This is the worst experience I have ever had in whole german hotel stays.

Review 14：The hotel is under a full renovation. In spite of that, we found our stay very pleasant. We were lucky to stay there over the weekend. not sure if there would be sound during the week. Not enough tv channels with English programming

Review 25：The place of the hotel is very good - opposite bank of the river infront of the castle but not along with noisy parking (отель расположенна противоположной от замка стороне реки, не рядом с шумнымипарковками).

Review 26：Even though the hotel is across the River Elbe from Meissen - so that you have to walk or drive into the center - the view made up for the distance. Our room looked out over the river, and the castle and cathedral on top of the hill. I recommend you request a room with a view of the river and city.
