Review 1：When it was time to leave, I was informed that the only way to pay was cash or bank transfer- no credit cards. Perhaps I missed some small print somewhere, but this was unwelcomed news. It took almost a month to arrange payment-- involving between 5 and 10 phone calls an emails- mostly handled by my husband who didn't need to add more to his plate.
Review 2：While funky (situated over open living area of host family, refrigerator in the hall, bed in the living room), our apartment was clean, well maintained, and well equipped. Eric, the host, was helpful when I had questions.
Review 3：Eric the owner is a great guy and the property is awesome! Perfect cottage in a residential area just 2.5 km from Legoland. The cottage also had a private lego play den upstairs, which our 4.5 year old son loved! This is not a hotel, so don't expect room service. It's a home away from home! Best option in Billund!

Review 5：the apartment was awesome - very vibrant, well designed and equipped. the garden is just beautiful, you can just sit out for a beer or two and enjoy. Erik was very helpful and kind, he takes care of every detail - even offered a free ride to the center at the end. I was initially thinking of going to a hotel for 1 day - don't regret my decision ;)
Review 6：Great location 5 mins drive from Legoland. Very peaceful. Lovely cosy little apartment with loft full if toys for young children. Beautiful large garden with summerhouse, hammock and swings.
Review 7：A beautiful property conveniently located for Legoland but away from the hustle and bustle. A real gem of an apartment and excellent hospitality - could not have been more helpful! Our son just loved the loft full of Lego !

Review 11：Loved it all. Erik is a perfect host. The place is a dream- house. All in the house, and especially in the kitchen has been thought of in detail. The house has a perfect wide garden and a pavillion.

Review 13：We had a huge apartment - more like a whole house - with access to a large garden. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and well-equipped and the garden is immaculate yet welcoming. We were around 4K from Legoland and this is the ideal spot: quiet, convenient and spotless.

Review 24：I travelled to Billund for a week of work, and I needed a place with cooking facilities as I am currently following a special diet. This place was perfect! furthermore, Erik was able to accommodate my credit card, which does not have chip and pin technology. This was a HUGE plus, since we all know how inconvenient it can be travelling in Europe with our US credit cards.
Review 25：I am not a fan of sloping roofs, especially where the bed meets the wall and I think the bathroom needs more light, but these are minor things. Price is a bit higher than similar places but somehow justified by the better quality and design.
Review 26：The place is easily reached for Billund airport by car (15 minutes drive), but you need a car. Close to Legoland (10 minutes drive), The apartment I was allocated to is an attic with sloping roof but big enough so you do not feel tight and uncomfortable. There is one big room with a sitting area, double bed, kitchen aa and dining area. There is another small bedroom with one bed that takes all the space in it. The bathroom is big enough. Dining room and kitchen equiped with everything you need to cook a meal and to prepare a nice romantic dinner on candles. What strikes in this apartment is the better quality of furniture and finish, lots of woodwork a touch to details and very good design. You have the impression that the owner has made the place for himself with an exquisite taste and without sparing resources (the owner is a photographer and obviously a man with taste). The place is a gem and better suits for a couple or a family with one or two small children (there is a staircase leading to the underroof low height space, where children can play with the available Lego and othe toys). Very quite place, non-obtrusive host whom you can contact by SMS should,you need anything.
Review 27：The owner Erik was very accomodating. He guided us to Legoland himself and went out of his way to meet our daughters dietary needs. The grounds and apartment itself are beautiful.
Review 28：There are extra charges for additional people and we we not told untilcheck out, it was a bit awkward. We did not think we would be chargedfor our children as they are both under 3. In the end, he did notcharge us.Would have been good if there was stair gates as there are wooden stairs and we had to watch the kids closely!
