Review 1：A little funky with rooms above a pub, but a lot of local color (limited English, which made it more fun) and very convenient for one last beer before turning in. Very clean. Just a block from the train station. We did not have breakfast because we were the only ones there and we did not want to make the staff come in just for us, but there are many great options within a few blocks. Inexpensive - a real bargain. We have stayed at nicer places in Kevelaer, but this one was the most fun and definitely the best deal. It will be the first place I check next time we go.

Review 2：This was a very economical place to stay, so I wasn't expecting much. And was pleasantly surprised. This was a great value for my money. And, you will be surprised by the restaurant. Not, only was it a great value, but it was exceptional. I had an excellent bowl of French Onion Soup, and then this great entree of Pork Cordon Bleu. Two pork cutlets encased in a golden crusted breaking, in between the cutlets was a slice of ham, and melted cheese. Again, I was really expecting a culinary treat (because of the price), but was pleasantly surprised. I'm disappointed that I didn't have time for their breakfast in the morning.

Review 3：When we arrived pushed bell for access owner looked out back hotel waived us to come carried 3 cases to back and then through restaurant then through pub then into hall which was the door with the bell I had pressed why not open door bed linen old uncomfortable room needs upgraded

Review 4：Very good value for money. Location was excellent just off the centre of the town. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. It is not a chain hotel so not formulaic. The owners are present, you knew they cared about their business and it showed. I would strongly recommend.

Review 11：We rented bikes from the airport and biked 10 km from the airport to the hotel. The hotel has a good location on the peaceful street very near the city center. The staff was very kind and helpful. They gave us ice for cold drinks and borrowed a knife for peeling fruits. Sleeping on water mattresses was an experience :) - luckily there is not a king size bed, but two separate beds side by side and so also two separate mattresses. In the hall there is a self service coffee/tea maker: 50 cents per cup. On Wednesday evenings there is a grill buffet in the hotel's restaurant.

It is helpful to have everything a visitor, yet in both the morning that we needed them and we were served with a smile! The hotel is in a very convenient point of Kevelaer. Review 20：Location of the hotel is perfect if you have to catch an early flight, as it is very close to the shuttle-bus stop. The room was spacious and clean, and it has water beds! :D never see them before...We regretted not to have spent a bit more time visiting the area.

Review 28：Convenient location near Kevelaer train station, in the scenic little city of Kevelaer. Easy access to Frankfurt Hahn Airport. The rooms were comfortable and nice and the hosts/owners a super kind and pleasant couple.

Review 29：I only stayed for one night but the hotel had everything I needed for an overnight stay. The room was small but comfortable and since I was to leave early they prepared a good, typical German breakfast for me at 7 am. The hotel is just around the corner from the train station where you can get the train to Düsseldorf or Essen or other big cities in the area and the shuttle bus to Weeze airport. It's a typical German Gasthaus and I wouldn't mind staying there again for some days.
