Review 1：You have to pay for electricity, but it is not much. We paid some sort of cleaning fee, but no one came to clean the apartment during our stay.

Review 2：We had a really nice stay, apartment was fully equipped, staff is very friendly, location close to the beach. We felt very safe as there are many resorts nearby. Lot of Italian people/restaurants in this area makes you feel like in Europe :)

Review 3：Seems to be a newer establishment. The bar/restaurant did not have a menu for drinks or food. However the drinks that were mixed for us, as well as the meals were very good.

Review 4：The location was great. Not to far from the "downtown". We had a rental car and were able to park on property no problem.

Review 5：Hotel is situated near the woods. Apartments have mosquitoes nets in the windows, but those little b****rds found their way to bite us a lot. Wi-fi signal is only near to the restaurant. If you want Wi-fi in your room you must pay 5$/day. Electricity is paid separately 0,5$/1kWh, but we were informed about that before our arrival. You must buy barrels with the water in the mini-market.

Review 6：Apartment had all we needed. Fully furnished kitchen. Ideal for people who want to cook their own food. Personal was really nice. Nice swimming pool. Everything clean. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the appartment + living room with the kitchen and large balcony.

Review 7：Multiple deposits. Deposit before getting there to hold reservations and then an additional deposit when we arrived. Not exactly sure what happened to the first deposit.

Review 8：Room size is huge. Website is a little deceiving. We could have shared one apartment with the other couple we were with.

Review 9：Had to wait for 15 minutes at day of arrival until reception was ready. No price transparency at all. On top of booking.com price comes cleaning fee of 25 dollars, electricity (was 10 dollars for three nights), 3 dollars a day for renting the safe key. No free WiFi in the rooms, 5 dollars extra for renting a WiFi router. No breakfast included. No credit card payment accepted. No working cash machines around, only in other private hotel complexes. You have to pay the whole price upfront, plus 100 dollars deposit, all in cash. No mosquito nets at the windows except for bedrooms. TV only working for five minutes then no signal at all most of the time and only local channels. This place was such a huge disappointment, we have been to three other hotels and all of them had a high level of customer orientation but not Los Flamencos. Also location far from beach and most parts of the beach are exclusively for all-inclusive tourists from other hotels.

Review 20：I thought the electricity fee was too expensive. It is around 0.50 EUR per KW. If you sleep with A/C on you can expect to consume 10 EUR per day.

Review 21：Apartments are very nice. Everything is nice and clean. Price is reasonable. The apartments are at a nice location.

Review 22：The same as everywhere in the Dominican Republic so it is not a particular feature of this hotel: wifi signal is less than what we are used to in EU/US and if it is ok to read email, streaming wont work everytime depending on how many people are online at the same time. They rent a wifi router for 5 dollars that may help with your Internet connection but we didn't rent it so I can't advice on this. Second is ATM machines which won't let you withdraw more than 2.000 pesos (+- 50 dollars) twice a day. A more generous ATM machine is located 20 kms away at the Jumbo supermarket in La Romana city. The low availability of cash is something to consider before planning your trip to the Dom Rep as it may be a real pain in the neck especially if you don't have a car.

Review 23：Extremely friendly staff and great facilities perfect for couples and for families. Apart hotel really clean and functional that you are happy to come back after a long day at the beach. Less than five minutes away by foot from coconut/clear water Dominicus beach and 5 mins away by car to the Bayahibe village with loads of seafront restaurants. Quiet place ideally located. Great local life.

Review 24：electricity was scary and seems to be a common problem, even if they said it had happened only with us. At the end we got an ok deal, but much expensive than what we were told with careful but reasonable use.

Review 35：Los Flamengos is a wonderful place to stay. The appartament has everything you may need on vacation. It is in a very quiet and safe location but also very close to anything you may need. The aprtament itself is very clean and airy. Has a nice balcony were you can drink your coffe and eat if you like. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you may need on vacation. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and had two full baths. The location is very close to the public beach of Dominicus and close by you will find a groceries store with the essentials and varius coffee houses. The pool is a nice place to rest and pass a lazy afternoon. They also have free wi-fi in the public areas and sometime you may even get it from your balcony. Our hosts, Carmelo and Giusy were simply wondeful. They treated us like long lost friends and catered to our very need. They took us to the nice beaches, arranged excursions for us and even took us at La Romana to buy groceries! We could not have asked for more. The next time we come this is the only place we would ever consider to stay and we highly recommend Los Flamengos Aparthotel to anyone wanting to spend a safe, worry free vacation in wonderful Dominican Republic.

Review 36：Beautiful sunsets and scenary. I have loved Los Flamencos and its beautiful landscapes. I have been to many hotels and resorts in the last years, but I must say that so far I hadn’t find something similar to it. It is a unique place: elegant, special and luxury. Suitable for people like me who don’t like too crowded places and prefer tranquillity and exclusiveness. And most important the location outside the hotel is very safe so you don’t have to be worried if you have walk there.

Review 42：What can I say? A small corner of paradise! Great room and great location, I could never forget this extremely luxury Aparthotel which is like a pearl in the ocean. Luxury rooms and very very clean place. You feel completely relaxed there and at your ease. The staff was very professional and they made me feel at home.
