Review 1：Upon checkout the credit card machine was not working (for the second day in a row) and staff presented no other options other than scrambling to an ATM to try to cover multiple night stay with cash.

Review 2：Loved the location, unique room on two floors and breakfast. Staff was also very friendly and helpful with some minor issues.

Review 4：Very friendly staff in a lovely hotel. It's a strange mix of a residence for elderly people and a further annex for hotel guests - but it works well. Room was excellent, great breakfast served in the annex and Goslar is a great location.

Review 6：Secure parking for E6 per night. Perhaps the best thing was motorised hospital type beds, perfect for finding a comfortable position to read. There was tea and coffee and a kitchenette in the room if you wanted to cook. Goslar is the most beautiful town I have ever seen.

Review 7：Just the ultra soft pillows were a bit of a pain. Some more seating would be helpful - there were five of us but we only had two chairs once the sofa bed was out. However, this is very minor and is only a suggestion to enhance what was a great hotel.

Review 8：The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The location was amazing with a view over the town out of the window with the Harz mountains behind - hard to beat.

Review 9：Troubles with wifi: password worked only on a single device, others could not connect. 'Double' bed consisted of 2 mattress which make wide gap when two of you lay on it. Not good when the baby sleeps between you.

Review 13：At night it is closed and we must have a key. This key is very tricky . In fact we could not open it after dinner outside and at that time the staff opened the door to come back to his house. Without this luck　we would be lost at night. It is not easy task to stay in this hotel for he traveller who don't speak German or English in some level. Even without this ability,the brave heart can stay and it is worthwhile to stay.

The staff was very friendly. Our question was answered quickly with details per email a week before our arrival. We booked a suit room for family. The room was very clean and everything was well prepared, including the bed for baby.

Review 35：Some of the stuff don't speak English at all, can be very annoying, but most of them do and most guests are German anyway so not really a problem. Also, wifi signal not great inside room, and you need to ask for a wifi password for each phone...

Review 43：It isn't easy to find a parking place in the vicinity and the hotel's parking is tiny and not free of charge. It is good to know that this is a mix of a hotel and an house for the eldrely, so dinner for example is to be searched for elsewhere.

The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious, well-equipped and very quiet. The hotel garden was very charming and it provided excellent secure parking. Goslar is beautiful and is an ideal base for touring the Hartz region.
