Review 2：They were not busy and gave me a great suite at the same price , the breakfast was excellent .

Review 4：Service, smiling staff that knew what we needed, every morning they remembered what we drank and came back with fill up without having to ask. Were very useful in directing us to the point of interest in Lahr and the black forest. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, we would go back anytime, they also had parking on the premises which is a plus.
Review 5：Lack of quiet air conditioning, which made a very warm room (weather was hot) very difficult to sleep in.
Review 6：The care taken by the lady at reception to ensure that we were happy with our stay, the friendly atmosphere and the comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent too, and very kindly deducted from our bill due to the air-con issues.

Review 14：The bell is noisy and the bed is far too soft. The toilet door is from glass and you can look through. Being there alone is fine but as a couple it's not ideal...I think you know why

Review 18：There was no air-conditioning, and the beds were a bit firmer than I would have preferred, but I guess I assume this is the norm for Germany. The hotel is really close to a church with loud bells (every hour). This didn't bother me, but it may be something that would put off some people.
Review 19：The staff were very friendly and accomodating to non-German speaking tourists. The rooms were very nice. Very close to downtown market. The breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend to any traveller's going to Lahr.
Review 20：The hotel is located on the main street into Lahr, so there is constanttraffic noise (rolladen on all windows help with this), and the parkingis tight if you have a large car (like us). The breakfast was justalright. Nothing major, though.

We had a beautiful two bedroom apartment on the 3rdfloor - bedding was comfortable, bathroom enormous with great shower andspa-bath, towels aplenty, air-conditioned and even a balcony with cosylounge and large shade umbrella! Internet was great both in terms of signal-strength and speed. It helped that the wireless router was right outsidethe door, I guess... It was quite luxurious at a very good price.

Review 23：We had the most incredible suite of rooms - bedroom, sitting room &bathroom - all spacious and very well appointed. The staff went out oftheir way to be of service. Great location close to the historic and newdowntown and not far from much of anything else including shopping(grocery, clothes, pubs, etc). Breakfast was well-worth the 5.8 Eurosper person. Parking was on-site, free & some was even under cover. Allof this for 74 Euros/night through www.booking.com!!
