Reviews for Akzent Hotel Brusttuch
Review 1:The friendliness of the staff is mixed. While waitresses are really nice and friendly some people at the reception could do better.
Review 2:Very nice, spacious and comfortable appartment right in the centre of goslar. From there we could reach all locations of interest on foot.
Review 3:Heart of town location yet not hard to drive to, historic building yet modern facilities ... and how often do you find a modern heated swimming pool in the attic of a 16th century building?
Review 4:The town is quite lively, and one must enjoy church bells if you wish to leave the window open.
Review 5:Great hotel in a historic location. Friendly staff and very nice rooms.
Review 6:no indication/notice on the locked hotel door or booking info where to check in. Fortunately a resident walked out of the door and told us to go to a hotel across the square....no apology from the receptionist.
Review 7:Check-in is in a separate hotel across the square, about 200 yards away.
Review 8:Right on the main square in an amazing historic building that is about 600 years old. Room décor and furnishings are dated, however, and starting to show wear. But still serviceable and a good value.
Review 9:They advertise a sauna which they havent built yet which is dishonest, also the pool was nearer 15 degrees not the quoted 27, unusable really and not interested in sorting it out. Staff just service the sister hotel and this hotel is clearly an afterthought and no interest in its guests. Rooms are veryboutdated and not in keeping with the historic building. Next to town clock which chimes each hour during the night.
Review 10:Location really handy and great to stay in a historic building. Breakfast very good
Review 11:Great location in the city center Excellent staff, actually provided a staff member to guide us to the parking lot since construction was blocking the original entrance Room was small but still comfortable
Review 12:having to walk across main square for: - Check in + check out - reception - breakfast - food - in fact everything you'd expect No pool but this was advertised and no reduction in bill for this. This "hotel " is just an annex for bedrooms for the main hotel it has absolutely no facilities or staff
Review 13:We could hear people on the street during the night.
Review 14:Location was perfect! And the breakfast was awesome and huge. Free street parking on the weekend.
Review 15:Nothing to dislike. Were totally surprised at finding and being able to explore such a little gem.
Review 16:Beautiful and quaint location in cobblestone central market square of a jewel of a town. Ancient and interesting yet well refurbished facilities with up-to-date rooms and even a nice pool on upper floor. Friendly service with great breakfast buffet. Goslar is a classic ancient German town with beautifully maintained historic quarters and in our opinion the quaintest of towns we visited in Germany. From there took an interesting excursion up 3500 foot Brocken mountain in Harz on authentic steam locomotive train.
Review 17:The decoration of our room: didn't look like one would imagine a room at an old Fachwerkhaus to look. 90's style furniture, a bit worn out (although clean). The pillows were way too flat. Did except something else, considering the price.
Review 18:Great location, good parking place behind the hotel, beautiful old building, swimming pool (although didn't have time to use). Good breakfast, didn't mind that it was in the other building. No AC but the temperature in the room was still very pleasant, even a bit cold (in July). Booking said that there's no internet connection at the hotel but they had free wifi, after all. That was a nice surprise.
Review 19:Great location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Review 20:Great hotel in a great small town.
Review 21:Hotel reception is in a different location of few minutes walk.
Review 22:Great location.
Review 23:The swimming pool was too cold!
Review 24:The location was great
Review 25:The church bells , but not the hotels fault
Review 26:The breakfast was the best I've had for a long time , fresh and a great choice.
Review 27:we will come again a really good experience
Review 28:There was no one on reception. We had to go elsewhere to check in and have breakfast
Review 29:The location was excellent as we wanted to be in the old town.
Review 30:The hotel's last renovation was probably in the 90:s. It needs bo update.
Review 31:Nice building.(outside) breakfast and reception in main hotel(Kaiserworth) 50m walk.breakfast was very good.
Review 32:Breakfast at an other location, although not far away from hotel.
Review 33:Nice hotel, but it is a dependance of Kaiserworth. Nice swimmingpool.
Review 34:Meals are in the sister hotel (Kaiserworth) 70m away. No big problem, but slightly annoying
Review 35:Great location Spa facilities Beautiful building
