Review 1：Breakfast was poor. All that was available was Bread and Jam, Yoghurt, fruit juice. Tea/coffee. I choice of cake and piece of fruit. Ham and cheese was not included in the room price.

Review 22：1st time staying in Altea old town and it was such a lovely place. The hostel Fornet was in a perfect location. It was a nice room and had comfortable beds. The bathroom was big with a walk in shower. Would stay here again.

Review 23：The bathroom was large but the toilet was facing large french windows with now blinds...using the loo with the light on was a no-no! The towels provided were old and had no absorbancy at all. Good for one night stop off.

Review 50：This is a perfect place to spend a couple of days in the old city. A lot of nice small shops and great restaurants around. Just keep in mind that you have to climb up for 10-12 minuets to come back from the sea.

Review 51：Poor service. They urged us to change the room without prior notice and no convincing explanation by sending an early text message and writing a note left under the door. The new bedroom was much worse: smaller, with bad matresses and a shower that didn't work (it was later repaired). Not expensive doesn't allow losing respect for the customer.

Review 56：Hostel Fornet is an excellent hotel, immediately behind the old town of Altea, with views towards the cathedral and coast. Each room has a balcony and the roof terrace has amazing 270 degree views. Staff were very helpful and enabled us to extend our stay by 3 days after we realised what a gem the town of Altea was. The location is very near to the high class shops and artist's studios and also close to the large variety of amazing restaurants. Our stay in ALtea was the highlight of our month in Spain!

Review 57：bit dissapointed there are no balconies with sea view anymore as the hotel has been re configured and the top floor is now private apartments. Altough there is a communal roof terrace with nice views
