Review 1：The only compaint we have is that there were several mosquitos in the room.
Review 2：This is a great location! The hotel was nice, especially for the price. The views were great and the breakfast spot was amazing and good food. The A/C was much needed and appreciated.
Review 3：You have to walk 10 minutes to get to the beach, but this would be the case from any Bayahibe hotel except the big resorts, I believe. Internet works only outside the room, but they've provided a sitting area on each floor for this.

Review 19：The location. The air-conditioning was working perfectly. The shared seats in every floor which makes it possible to meet other travellers.

Review 22：Roosters at 4am and tiny ants mentioned in another review (no biggie,but can bother some pple). The toasted bread at breakfast (at DonnaClara) is very basic, but omelettes are good.. In general about Bayahibe: super-aggressive vendors of various excursions. Particularly one rather stocky guy in a white shirt with mustache and a few missing teeth in the front - just wouldn't go away while I was packing luggage into my car's trunk, and followed me on the street. When I showed no interest, and did not respond, he kept trying to ask questions in different languages- really annoying;)
Review 23：Friendliness of the staff, the 'open air' design of the commonareas on each floor, artwork, colors, balcony, proximity to the beach.The hotel was flexible - they agreed to shorten my reservation from twodays to one, even past the cancellation/modification deadline. I gotin very late (1:30am) because of a long tiring drive from the North ofthe island, but the receptionist was there to greet me and to help withmy luggage all the way to the 3rd floor (there is no elevator). WiFiworks from the common seating area on each floor (not from rooms). Onthe day of check-out I got a good recommendation for a local restaurant.Warning: google maps were not able to give directions to the hotel, but once I got to the village (turn right at the fork on Carretera a Bayahibe about 1km away), locals pointed me to the hotel.

Review 26：Very loud music from bars in the village until 11PM. Beds too hard. No accessible AC outlets except in the bathroom above the sink makes it difficult to charge electronic devices.
Review 27：Great location in a charming village, near restaurants, activities and the ocean. The hotel is clean and cheerful. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful but don't speak English. There is parking right behind the hotel. The included breakfast is served in the hotel's lovely beachfront restaurant (a block away) and is delicious and filling.
