Review 1：The marble stairs were slippery on the way up to the spa. The elevator didn't go to the spa level. Take caution to not slip

Review 4：The staff was very nice and helpful. We were there for the third time and it felt like coming home. The room overlooking the river had a balcony and was very nice.
Review 5：We booked rooms with a balcony and river view and paid a surcharge.One room had the balcony the other did not but both rooms had river views.The room with a balcony had no furniture other than a cupboard part of which was locked, the wardrobe side contained the hotel fuse boxes and they asked us not to put anything in it.The headboard was 4'' high only just above the mattress thus the pillows kept falling on the floor behind the bed .When we complained we were told 'well you have an office in the room'The bathroom had no fittings in the shower area you placed for shower gels was a tiny ledge or on the floor, both difficult for older people and disabled as we are, the water flooded the room from under the shower screen leaving you paddling to reach the toilet.The fire alarms were individual battery operated smoke alarms with only the backplate fitted to the ceiling as the alarm had been removed because it was faulty!.There was no fire exit plan.The skirting was hanging off the wall.The second room which was booked for 2 ladies sharing left us speechless.The shower and toilet was set in the room...a clear glass cubicle everything you did seen by whoever entered the room. A large oblong hole in the tiled shower wall was filled with wiring (electrical?) awaiting a radio to be fitted.The radiators would not turn on and leaked onto the carpet.The battery operated smoke alarm did work in this room.It went off one evening while we were in the other room talking to friends.When we realised the alarm alert was in the second booked room without opening the room one of us ran down 3 flights of stairs into the reception to report a possible fire...( as the alarms where not fitted to the mains they only sounded in the room) Again no fire exits notices in the room.The lady on reception rushed up in the LIFT while the smoke alarm was still sounding in the room.

Review 11：Herr Ober the waiter and reception manager was a bit too busy for hisown good! Very nice well meaning man though! The evening meal wastasty and of good standard. Shame we hadn't a view of the riverfrom the room.
