Review 1：Noisy main road,building works and very basic dated room. Have stayed in much better hotel rooms for far less money & they wanted an extra €5 to have a shower instead of bath in bathroom!!!!

Review 4：Good food in the evening (breakfast basic but perfectly good enough, especially the fresh orange juice), friendly staff, size of the flat, comfy beds, good bathroom (not modern but in good working order), excellent view, proximity to the sea (bring your earplugs as the waves make a lot of noise crashing over the pebbles!)

Review 10：I wasn't expecting much, but I was totally blown away on my arrival. Usually I stay in Benidorm or Altea. But I wanted some peace and quiet. Didn't really realise this stretch of coastline was so idyllic and quiet. When I opened my bedroom door, this gorgeous view blew me away. For only €34 I got one of the best views I've ever seen, whether from a hostal or a hotel. I had a large balcony. At night in bed, it was lovely to hear the waves lapping on the beach. The staff were very welcoming and helped me out with bus and train times. Breakfast was included, and I didn't realise this. I paid for a couple of coffees. Then, the young girl comes back with my money!!! It seems a lovely welcoming place, as locals were popping in for coffee and reading the paper. A couple of groups of ladies were coming for morning get-together. The bathroom was very large...ample in fact. The hostal is actually on the beach, so out of the door and on the beach in 10 seconds!!! Walking along the beach, stopping off at the chiringuitos along the way. Being May, it wasn't busy and I had large stretches of beach to myself. Lovely character around Cap Negret too. It seems to attract nice clientel, no stags or hens here!!! If you are arriving by tram, get off at the Cap Negret stop NOT Altea. It is just a short 10 minute walk from here. It is a 20 minute walk into Altea old town. All-in-all I was very pleased with my stay at the Hostal, and can't wait to go again.

Review 20：The hostal is in a perfect position for the beach and midway between the town and numerous beach bars in the other direction. The rooms are cleaned every day and the beds have the luxury of memory mattresses rarely found in more expensive hotels. All in all great value.

Review 64：It was a bit of a walk out of town, but only about 15/20 minutes which after a huge meal is actually fairly pleasant. The rooms had a bit of a musty smell to them. Although very clean and comfortable the rooms did look a little tired, but for an over night stop it didn't really matter.

Rooms were a good size, clean, with good sized balcony with side view to the sea. Clean and comfortable. Air conditioning free and you will need that! T.V., No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms but very affordable food and drinks served at the cafe/bar. Parking within secure gated area. Close proximity to Calpe and a short walk into Alte. Lift available to take you down to car park area. Only a single flight.

Review 73：The hotel is right in front of the Cap Negret beach, with great views from the balcony. Cap Negret is a "stone" beach, much less populated that other beaches in the Mediterranean. The brize is very strong and fresh, which gives the stay an air of being close to nature. Good for people that like the sea for sports, and not so good for those that want a quiet sea. Family rooms are huge, good to travel with children or with four people. The hotel gives good value for the money you pay.
