Review 1：It would be good to let the guest know the best transportation to and from the hotel, as the hotel is so far from the daily transport.

Review 14：The DR is a beautiful location, still just wild enough to give that island feeling. The little imperfections that go with this type of setting made the experience even more enjoyable.

Review 15：I wish the bicycles were in much better shape. Very old with almost flat tires and no gears. Also they could come up with an interesting bike path or backroad to take. Also the pools for adults were never open after 6 pm so you could not have a night swim or dip after dinner.

Review 16：Lots of things to do. The coral reef off the shore was great for snorkeling but very hard to find. You have to keep asking where it is. I think they don't want you to know. Maybe they are trying to preserve it from too many people.

Review 18：Great restaurants 9 total. Great bars and beac swimming pool services. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pools were great. Loved the dive shop called Grigri and all it had to offer. Loved the Hola tours. Dive shop offered first rate dives for beginnes and advanced level just minutes from the beach via short boat ride and with very reasonable prices.

Review 19：Very loud music and events every night until 11pm that made it impossible to relax in our room. Vendors that visited the property were pretty aggressive and we really disliked that.

It was the first week of the adults only section, so not so many people where staying on that new sections but it was nice. We like that we didn't have to wear a hand braclet and no reservation for the restunants

Review 40：They don't have enough beach chairs on the beach. The responsible staff told me that everything was reserved at 9.30 although there were one guy who hold 22 beach chairs by himself. They were not helpful at all, although the hotel has max 1 hour reservation rule in their booklets. The room service was also poor.

Review 46：The food often tasted the same as the main courses were swimming in soy sauce and heavily salted. The buffet meats and fish were over cooked. The yogurt, jam all seemed to be very poor quality. The desserts all looked pretty but were basically colored dream whip in a gelatine base. The salt level in many of the vegetables and rice was excessive. There was no tray on our grand child's high chair making it difficult to feed. There was no drying rack for wet items as we were not supposed to hang things on patio. Sometimes we had hand towels and floor mats but as our visit progressed it required a call to service desk to obtain them. They could spend less time making towel decoration for our bed. We had to rise very early to obtain a chair on the beach. There did not seem to be enough chairs under sun protection for all visitors.

Review 47：The beach and grounds were very well kept. The staff was attentive although not many spoke English. Difficult to communicate with front desk and service desk. The shower in the room soaked the walls and had no exhaust fan.

Although I had a confirmation by the staff for a late checkout the second day, I had to leave the room at 12:00 and for an additional stay staff, they ask another 100 dollar. There was no alternative because they were also not willing / allowed? to take care of my luggage (laptop). I normally book a resort using booking .com for the weekend (I'm working in Santo Domingo), and I had never issues before with all other resorts, but at this I will never stay again.Besides of this: It was hard to sleep. - Metal roof (continue 'tapping' sounds) - very poor sound isolation

Review 91：Lazy and poorly trained staff. Usually one person works while the other 4 are chatting about the guests or complaining about their bosses. The concierge Johnathan R only solved our problems after I mentioned I would make a terrible review about him. We had to make a late check-in and he wanted us to pay extra for late check-out. Loud noises made by the own staff next to the room doors. Although tips are not officially required, if you dont give tips, relax and wait longer. The whole stay was payed at the check-in and you still must leave USD20.00 cash deposit to use the free snorkell, as if they dont trust you. Internet is not included and simply doesn't work.

They are courteous and provide excellent service with an interest in taking care of your needs. All responses end with "it is my pleasure." The servers in the World Cafe are engaging and attentive. They ask permission before removing your plate. The reason I mention is that we just stayed at another resort where our plates were always wisked away and we weren't even finished. It became annoying.

Considering they are located near nothing travel to the resort using their suggestion and trips to see some of the D.R. should be free or a lot less expensive.
