Review 1：didnt like the bar services, bartenders were rude sometimes, didnt like the fact you cant control the air conditoner temperature, my room was 27C of temp. It was hot!! Called the client service and they just told me they cant take down the temp. Because they were taking care of the enviroment :/, the beach... I like it but it has a lot of rocks.

Review 2：I like the pool, beach and food, easy to wander since its not a big hotel.

Review 3：I wasn't impressed by the reception personnel. I really didn't feel welcome. They have to change the towels. They looked more like rags. They had dead flower arrangements in the reception area.

Review 4：I loved the location, the beach, and walking through the gardens. The housekeepers and other service personnel were attentive and did the best they could.

Review 5：Requested 2 beds and pool view when we got to our room 1 bed and back of a building view. Was advised stay were we are at till 4pm and will get your room. The room also did not have any electricity. so the start of our vacation was not good. 2nd room no phone for 2 days had to go to front desk to make calls.

Review 7：The service, the food, they told us that they had 3 different restaurants and that we can make reservations to go eat there but the whole weekend they were full and we had eat every day at the buffet.

Review 8：I liked the location it's not too far from santo domingo, the entertainment was nice very traditional and that the hotel was natural you were more in touch with nature.

Review 9：Some of the staff were rude. They have staff constantly seeking to sell you their timeshare. A lot of the things were over price. Only one bar was open after 6:30pm. The checking was not ontime I had to wait 40 min after 3:00pm event those I was there since 2:00pm. The wifii was ridiculous over price 60 dollars for 25 hours. The beds were full not queen. The restaurants were always pack because they were small. Only the buffet line was good. My wife got sick almost immediately cuz piña colada

Review 11：One thing I would change is the wifi allocation policy. Most top placesthese days offer free wifi to paying guests, yet not only do you have topay, its quite expensive especially as it only works for one device.Firstly it should be Free (even the bus from Santo Domingo to La Robana,that only cost about £2 each had free wifi and it worked all the way ofthe journey), Secondly, if they must charge it should be for the roomand all who stay there and for as many devices as the people stayinghave with them, ie phones, laptops, i-pads etc. This was the only thingthat wasn't 5-star

Review 12：The place was a paradise. Everything about it is 5 star. The staff arelovely and really helpful. Great options for food and drinking.Entertainment varied and top notch. Grounds, Facilities and Beach areclean, and stunning

Review 13：2 things : -) The staff at reception is totally unprepared, they didn't give the rooms in the configurations I booked for and I had to complain a lot until they gave us what we paid for. note that all was confirmed even at check in when at the reception first time ... then bad surprise when in the rooms... Also, in other occasion like check out they where unable to explain the details in the bill-printout ... very disappointing, I paid as anyway it was same amount as the total on booking.com when I booked... but having a cahhier unable to explain what was on the receipt details was emrassing for them. -) at the restaurant the water was given by the employees and not possible to self-service... so, in practice... almost no water for the full lunch ... I believe this is a wrong choise of the management while all the rest was at buffet and self service.

Review 24：The room smelled like mildew and there was no soap. I had to call and ask for soap. There were bugs in my room. The tiny refrigerator in the room was old and rusty. There were signs at the restaurants that said please wait to be seated but no one ever came to seat the guests. I ended up seating myself at every meal. I had to find staff members and request my drinks with my meals (wine, coffee, etc.). My room was not ready at the 3:00 p.m. check in time and I had to wait an additional 20 to 25 minutes. Overall I was disappointed with the room and service and would not recommend it to anyone.

Review 26：when I arrived at the hotel a 8:30 they told me I couldn't use the facilities until check in 3:00 p.m. I had traveled the night before and my two sons were hungry. I spoke with person in the front desk, I was told if I want to eat before check in I have to paid 13 dollar per person. I was very upset and I asked to speak with a supervisor, I spoke with the assistant supervisor but he told me that those were the hotel policy. My kids waited for 3 hours and finally they let us use the hotel facilities. Very unprofessional not happy about the hotel.

Review 30：The service over all was very bad and poor. My sister was in an accident at the hotel and no one took action about it. We will actually sue the hotel for negligence.

Review 32：My mom's room didn't have AC, it took tons of effort on the second night for them to switch rooms. They had someone trying to repair the AC at 1:00 AM. They didn't clean my room after I asked many times. Not enough staff, you could see those poor people running trying to help, but they're just tired.
