Review 1：This hotel offers an unparalleled location to Bodensee as well as to the village of Meersburg. I stayed 3 days and will definitely return next year when I travel back to Germany.

Review 2：Everybody says warm words about the location. O.K., but there are number of hotels with same view above the lake. This hotel is totally overpriced, interior is boring & old fashioned (not in the good way), facilities are worn-out... Sorry.

Review 4：*Hotel parking was an issue, especially after a long drive to a beautiful sunny day in Meersburg...lots of tourists gathered in the bike parking area & entrance drive to hotel lobby -- making it difficult to understand where one needed to go in order to check-in. We finally had to send someone into lobby for parking instructions. Once we were able to negotiate the hotel's driveway, unload luggage & check-in, we then had to back the car up into the crowded street, drive to the covered parking lot w/a plastic keycard (provided by hotel) & walk back (<10 mins.) to hotel -- not so bad on a sunny day - not so good when it's raining. Explaining the parking protocol for this hotel on the website may assist other first-time guests?

Review 6：The room we were given was the only one at front with balcony and so it really made our stay special - after a long drive the balcony and a drink or two from mini bar chilled us completely out

Review 7：The attitude of the restaurant staff. You'd travel a long way to be treated with greater indifference. A shame as the food was good. On our 2nd night we asked for the dessert menu to be told by a belligetent waiter that the kitchen had closed!

Review 11：The staff never explained about the included breakfast. We had to park away from the hotel - a 10 minute walk. No explanation re: reserved spots. Upon checkout, the plastic pass card did not work. Had to walk back to the hotel for assistance. No fans and no one offered to explain the windows. Brutally hot. Internet was painfully slow and could only hook up one device for the entire stay.

Review 13：staff was unfriendly. they sent us to a public parking lot, said there's lot of space lot. we had to search 45 min for a free space. when I told them, the didn't apologize. right after they sent the next 2 couples to the parking lot saying there's lots of space. they just don't care. management should take action.

Review 15：There wasn't much I didn't like. There was no air conditioning, but that is pretty common in Germany, and it wasn't as hot the weekend I went so I didn't need it anyway.

Review 16：If you are lucky enough to get a room facing the lake, then the view from the window is amazing! And even if your room doesn't face the lake, you just have to walk outside the hotel and there it is! The staff was very helpful. My train got in after their reception desk closes, but they set it up so I could still check in with who I think was the kitchen manager or something. He was very nice and didn't act like I was a bother for checking in so late.

Review 17：Lakeside location with 2 minute walk to ferries taking you every in Lake Constance. The food was really good (both breakfast and rest of the day). Staff were so friendly.Large modern bedroom with outlook over lake.

Review 26：The location was perfect! Our room overlooked the Bodensee and was large, clean and comfortable. Hotel is convenient to public parking, ferrie to Konstanz and other destinations. A LOT of open air cafes and restaurants on the water. Great for catching a beautiful sunset over a glass of wine.

Review 27：The location of this hotel is ideal. There are views of the lake, mountains, and it's right on the boardwalk. The staff was great, and the room was just what we needed with a breathtaking view.

Review 28：Our room was rather dated, which wouldn't have been a problem if the rooms shown at the time of booking hadn't looked so much nicer. Parking is expensive, and although I reserved a space prior to arrival, we were never able to get one so we had to park in the public car park, paying 15 Euros per day.

Review 30：The overall appearance of the hallways and rooms were rather dormitory like. Bathrooms appeared to be new but exceptionally small. Water in showers went from hot to cold throughout the shower.

But turnsout a "barely visible view out of a miniature window"... So wehad to re-upgrade... But besides that all was great. Review 42：We parked our rental car in the lot they gave us a permit for. The next morning, we checked out early so we wouldn't have to rush back from visiting the island of Mainau. We asked if we could leave our car there a little extra time (way before next check in time) and the girl at the desk was so rude about it. Gave us an hour...that wasn't going to work. So we had to move our car into the payed lot and pay for 2 hours. Just seemed like a silly thing for them to make us do. We counted 23 empty spots in the permit area, we don't think it would've been a. If deal to allow us to stay there until 1:30. And we would've been much more likely to come back here if she hadn't been so rude to us!

Review 43：We loved the location of this hotel. We could walk everywhere and had an amazing view of the lake from our room. The town of Meersburg is really cute. Don't miss the chocolate shop for a hot chocolate with a shot of expresso! The hotel served a very nice breakfast buffet also!

Review 48：Parking was a little ways away from the hotel, but that's to be expected with a hotel in the old city and on the water. The hotel staff was helpful in giving us directions there though.

We got a little bit of restaurant noise from the promenade, but it didn't really bother us all that much, and with the window closed you couldn't hear anything at all. The staff was also very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious!

Review 50：Car parking is far too risky with constant deliveries, rubbish collection and stock storage all around it. Guests bikes and pedestrian access going past it and then birds nesting above it so it gets covered in bird droppings within the hour and I do mean covered not just one or two. Hire car, not an issue as who cares, your own car though, Humm think again. All this and you have to pay for the privaledge as well. The parking is really only a back alley to the Hotel and you have to leave your keys with the Hotel so that they an move it around should the need to.

Review 51：Location is superb, right on the lake with great views and eating/drinking terrace to the front overlooking the lake. Within walking distance to everywhere. Good pod, exellent Hotel in itself, just don't bring your own car.

Review 52：Most uncomfortable nights sleep of whole holiday - bed (new) was like a rock and the pillows useless. We work up as stiff as boards. We had booked car parking and were told there was none left so had to wait for a space in the public parking

Review 58：Stopped here for a night on the way home from Italy. This was our second visit to this hotel. We had a suite with a lake view. The room was huge and very comfortable. Meersburg is a very picturesque town on the shores of lake Constance. There are plenty of restaurants along the lake front and in the older part of town. Worth a visit and would recommend this hotel. Book the private parking prior to arrival to ensure a space.

If you go to the window, don't hit your head. 窓へ寄ると頭をぶつけないか用心が必要。部屋の中に２段の段差があるから、ベットからトイレへ行くとき、手を洗い行くとき、いちいちかなりの高さが- ある２段の階段をどっこいしょと越える。夜などトイレの往復はもうズッコケそう。 There are two steps in the room: whenever you cross the room to use your bathroom, you have to ”climb” (the steps are quite steep) and go down the "stairs".この段差とあちこち低い天井に緊張のしっぱなし。全然くつろげなかった。 Hallway is also dangerous due to the slanting ceiling. 廊下も屋根裏の下がった天井のため橋のほうを通らないと頭をぶつける。 Hotel should not sell these rooms to the ordinary tourists for regular prices. こんな部屋をフツーの観光客に普通の値段で売ってはいけない！インターネットのパスワードは部屋にはない。夜の１0時以降にインターネットを使おうとしてもフロントに無- 人になっている。Reception closes at 10 pm; you had better get the Internet password before it closes.
