Review 1：Very poor sound insulation between the rooms. Was not able to sleep till 3am in the morning due to noises from the surrounding rooms and common passage area. You can hear everything that happens on your floor. Even if people speak very softly in the passage area, the voices are amplified by the design of that place and it wakes you up.

Review 9：Nothing bad at all. Given its city centre location, parking is in an underground car park a block away, but it's not a problem, they give you a map. The staff don't speak English so a smattering of Spanish helps.

Review 10：I loved the fact that pets were treated like any other guest. The beds were fantastic-huge and comfortable. We could walk everywhere-to the beach, the sidrerias, the Roman baths, up onto the headlands for dog walks. I have to say I like Gijon very much.

Review 13：Second floor room and bathroom nothing like the photos - furniture old and tired and chipped. Paint on walls flaky. Bed uncomfy and bedding 1960's style. The hallway and room smelt strongly of smoke and although there was a new sign saying it was a non smoking floor, a sign above all each room indicated smoking was allowed.

Review 15：No fan or air-con so it was hot in the room. With balcony doors open the noise from the street was intense and loads of mosquitos came in the room. There was the remains of squashed mosquitos on the walls when we arrived, so it's obviously not a new problem.

Review 27：Breakfast 'tables' looked more like discarded hospital trollies. Old and tired-looking TV with TDT box in the room could be replaced for something more modern.

Review 28：My single room at the back of the hotel was very quiet and I slept very well, but I'm not sure whether rooms at the front will be the same as this is quite a busy and presumably noisy street, especially at weekends. There was a free but very simple breakfast available (croissants, cakes, coffee or tea) which I wasn't expecting. Location right in the city centre and close to San Lorenzo beach. Clean. Communal sitting area with free books (for the taking). Would come again.
