Review 44：The double bed was worn out and one moved in the night and the other felt straight away. There is beautiful fire place in the Lounge and wasn't lit whilst we stayed for 2 nights when outside was quite cool bearing in mind our stay was at the end of December...in our opinion it's lack of effort. It's not really 4 star, maybe 3+...

Review 61：Dinner on the first night was disappointing and breakfasts not as good as we remember. Hot food was actually cold and coffee bitter. Ate out in Altea old town on second night. The hotel is quite noisy in the mornings as the doors all seem to need to be banged shut and next doors plumbing etc can be heard. Also disturbed by local dogs obviously kept outside, barking.

Review 62：We loved the location. this was our 3rd visit. The interior of the hotel is superb- public rooms as well as bedrooms which are particularly large. Views from our second floor room were wonderful. Altea od town itself is beautiful with lots of restaurants and bars. There was a craft fair on on 28th which was magical.

Review 63：We had difficulty locating the hotel which is down a narrow track off a busy main road. Our Sat Nav took us to the area but we only saw the hotel sign by chance. A more detailed map would have been helpful.

The bed was a king size but very hard, The hotel was typical Spanish old world décor which we liked. But to find the hotel was a nightmare not very well sign posted.

Review 72：Not much really, except for the elevator which only goes to the first floor. If you stay on the second floor, it will be a struggle to carry a heavy suitcase up the steps.
