Review 1：Hotel itself quite dated. Terrible location, had to walk on a very busy road to get to restaurants etc. Breakfast very poor.

Review 18：Nice hotel, well located and pleasant staff. Lots of Spanish families on holiday and we enjoyed not being surrounded by Brits abroad. No issues with loud music at night, although we were always out until 11pm, but hotel very quiet after that time We did upgrade on arrival to a premium room and the room and bathroom were modern and clean.

Review 34：Nothing bad, the hotel could do with a bit of an update, some parts look dated, such as the hair dryer, but that really wasn't important. I would stay at this hotel again if I were to return to the area.

Review 35：Great location, just a few minutes walk to the restaurants on the sea front in Altea, also close to other interesting places such as Calpe. Nice sea views from the rooms and mountain view from the other windows. Steps at the front offer views of Altea and its cathedral. Hotel was clean and there was a lot of choice at breakfast time. Plenty of parking. Staff were helpful and arranged a taxi for us.

Review 36：We had some hassle with our reservation. We were not given the Family Room (Junior Suite) confirmed by Booking.Com and, instead were given a small double on the first floor. When I questioned that, I was initially told that no Family Rooms were available. After I made a fuss and pointed out the printed confirmation, they decided that a Family Room was available "because someone had not turned up". There was also a minor overcharge on check out which was corrected when I challenged it.

Review 37：The hotel is right on the waterfront and only a short distance from Altea with excellent restaurants and shops. It offers free car parking which is a major plus.

Review 40：There is nowhere to buy a drink until the Bar is open at 12pm. We didnot book with Meals but used the restaurant both in the afternoon andevenings without problems. However if you are an early riser like mywife and no facilities in the room to make drinks she could not get hermorning cuppa. I asked at reception and was told that my wife could goin the restaurant at 7am to get a coffee. The following morning my wifewent into the restaurant and the machines were off. The followingmorning she went at 8am and was told by the only miserable member ofstaff that she would have to pay 8 euros for a breakfast just to get adrink. We then decided to boycott the restaurant for the next 2 daysbecause of this. So ladies if you want your early morning drink, takeyour kettle !!!

Staying at Hotel Cap Negret meant he could celebrate in style without having the drive home. The price was fantastic. Such good value for money for a comfortable room with sea views.

Review 50：We stayed here for 2 nights whilst in Altea. The hotel is nice and the staff are helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and we had a view of the beach whilst we ate. Also, the hotel was very clean through out. The beach was behind the hotel and can be accessed directly. It was a pleasant stay even though the weather wasn't great. I would recommend having a car to explore the area. We had room 348 which had a view of the pool and sea. The wifi signal was fairly good from the room and came free in the price. The hotel seems to be in the process of renovation. There are restaurant within a few minutes walk and one opposite the hotel. Would like to stay again in Summer next time. For the price, it is well worth it and I would stay again.

Review 59：Margarine and liquid jam at breakfast rather than butter and jam with visible fruit detracted from an otherwise good meal The hotel is located on a busy road, access to the beach at the rear of the hotel was not possible due to a recent storm which had washed away the beach below the steps, unless you jumped the last three feet.

Review 60：We had a junior suite with a separate sitting room with the best sea views and which was excellent. Balconies to both the South and West were ideal for the sun. Although the weather was cool the heating worked well Reception staff very helpful.
