Review 1：We found Niels Bugges Hotel, Cabins and Tavern (Kro) simply by coincidence last summer while traveling from western Jutland to the eastern part of Denmark. We were so impressed with the experience, that we decided to plan a longer stay this summer. The visit lived fully up to our expectations, as we spent our days hiking around the beautiful countryside and our mornings and evenings eating the wonderful food - sometimes at the hotel, sometimes at the tavern. The evening meals are in a class by themselves and truly deserve the lable "fine dining."

Review 4：we asked for separate beds and got a double, the curtains were very transparant and having the longest day (21st June) it was hard to get sufficient sleep due to the light coming through.
Review 5：Nice and relaxed atmosphere, at a very special location. You experience that the hotel has a great history.
Review 6：When I arrived at the hotel there was no one there to meet me, the building was locked and empty. No one was on site anywhere! Fortunately I had the telephone number, and when I called it, someone agreed to come and give me a key, then left again. Though there was a restaurant on site, I was told I could not use it. I had to walk over a kilometre to their other restaurant, and back again after wards. The meal was extortionately expensive - about 330 DKK (£33 approx.) just for a main course. When I returned, I found the restaurant in the hotel was serving guests, but for some reason I was not allowed to eat there.

Review 10：The check-in was a bit confusing as we had to go to their other hotel nearby to register.
Review 11：It was like staying a night in a museum: all the rooms are different with antique furnitures. It's a very quiet place.
Review 12：This is an old historic inn. As a result the old-fashioned beds were only 6 feet long! There is running water in the rooms, but there is but one bathroom/shower on each floor to share. If you don't arrive for check-in before 6 PM, you may be out of luck. All staff leaves around that time. You are given a key code so you can get in, should you choose to leave. The inn also has an old restaurant 3 kilometers away. Unfortunately, the address listed by booking.com is for the restaurant, not the in. This may cause confusion and difficulty. It also appeared that I was the only guest in the entire inn of 30 rooms. That can be a little spooky after dark.
