Reviews for Hotel - Restaurant Krone am Obertor
Review 1:I shared a double room with BR with a friend. Our room was fine, but the bathroom was HORRIBLE, so small I did not dare to take a shower, my friend could hardly get into that shower or out of it. To get into this broom closet bathroom, I got bruises from the door - a very unpleasant experience. Considering the price for the room, this bathroom is unworthy of the hotel standard.
Review 2:It was extremely hot when we stayed there, we asked for a fan but hotel had none! Extremely hard to sleep , receptionist couldn't really care if we had a fan or not! We were thankful it was only 1 night
Review 3:Loved the location very central to work into town. Restaurant was closed when there but restaurant across road was good. Although quite noisy later in evening and as our room faced the restaurant and we had to have the window open as it was so hot it was noisy
Review 4:The hotel is simple, with very basic amenities, but is quite charming, in the center of Radolfzell. It's close to the train station, lake, and some excellent restaurants. Breakfast and Internet were included. Quaint, old-fashioned, and very pleasant.
Review 5:This hotel restaurant was closed for the evening - their day off is Monday, but the place just across the street was wonderful and very accommodating to our fellow guests. They explained to us that they weren't allowed to store their cycling bags at this hotel at 1:00, just an hour before check-in time. How silly, and unfriendly. So they asked the restaurant across the street and they were very happy to do so.
Review 6:Room was spacious enough due to interesting bathroom built along one side of the room. Clever idea, although the shower water ran out onto the floor. Good breakfast, popular with cycling groups.
Review 7:Uncomfortable bed
Review 8:Ok staff, nice restaurant, decent location, free bicycle storage

Review 18:Location in the center of the old part of town, free parking from 2pm Saturday all weekend, Hotel was an old building where the old thick beams were nicely integrated into the rooms for that olde world feel
Review 19:The hotel kroner is a very old building with lots of character. The room we had was small but adequate ,clean and comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant where we had a very good meal. The landlady was very helpful and pleasant.
Review 20:Very stuffy, expensive for what we got, tiny shower room /toilet everything creaked with each step. No view, internet password was 30 digits long, no aircon - average breakfast
