Review 1：No joy connecting to wifi. It is a long uphill haul back to the Rennsteig if you are cycling or walking.

Review 5：This was the second time my mother and I stayed at this hotel. The first was in the dead of winter, when snow made the road to Finsterbergen almost impassable. It was cozy and welcoming that night. It turned out to be just as good in springtime. Friendly welcome. Comfortable rooms. Great dinner outside on the terrace. Good breakfast. Faultless free wifi. We've used it both times as an overnight stop on a trip. I think it would be a good base for a longer stay.
