Review 2：Central location, everything around Schliersee is in walking distance. Beautiful view over Schliersee from the Hotel. Must be magic during summertime.

Review 4：I can say only good things about my stay. Very friendly staff, always polite and ready to help. Perfect location, parking place right next to the hotel, perfect view, perfect breakfast, very nice atmosphere - I was there for Christmas holidays and the hotel was decorated absolutely perfect and I felt like I am at home.

Review 5：Very friendly and helpful staff. This really makes the difference in any hotel. Rooms are extremely clean. The view from our room over the lake was great. Ideal base to explore Bavaria, Salzburg, etc.

Review 6：The walls are thin. Our young neighbor(hotel trainee) was extremely loud late into the night,rude and when I complained the first time I was told nothing could be done. Then the night before we left I complained to manager. Was told I should have brought it up to his attention earlier. By then we had at least 5 bad nights. Not good customer service. Other staff were very good. Not sure I would return or recommend this hotel!

Review 9：The location was excellent and the staff very welcoming, with free welcome drink on arrival and parking outside. The biergarden outside overlooking the lake was brilliant and the food good. The rooms could not be faulted and the breakfast was vast although have to say the scrambled eggs and sausages were only luke warm.

Review 10：The wasps ! Unfortunately we were there in August when it was very hot and there were wasps everywhere particularly in the biergarten overlooking the lake and as someone who is very allergic to wasps, the pleasure of eating and drinking in the biergarten was not for me. There is insufficient parking for all the hotel guests in the high season.

Review 12：I couldn't use the wifi as it said it had reached the maximum number of clients. I doubt this as even at night it said the same thing. The staff didn't know how to resolve it . I had to use roaming as I had some work calls which was less than ideal

Review 17：The location and view is amazing. We had a covered balcony overlooking the lake and beer garden. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Did I mention it has an amazing beer garden ON the lake?

Review 18：The staff was amazing from beginning to end.. the owner even came and got me at the train station!! Friendly; helpful.. wonderful people. The area is beautiful with lots of hiking and swimming and boating opportunities. Breakfast was great, the hotel restaurant is very good with a wonderful view of the lake. Free ticket to ride the bus to the ski area. Cute shops.

Review 19：we didn't receive the requested room ended up view a tiny window overlooking the town. The bed had a stain that didn't look like hygiene standards to me. The shower was in a tub and the holder of the shower head was broken so you couldn't enjoy the shower. Altogether not worth the money...wasted 160€

Review 20：The location is beautiful right next to the lake this also the view of some of the rooms (e.g. The one we had requested and been confirmed to received by a member of staff weeks in advance on the telephone). Breakfast was alright and the view of the breakfast location is stunning.

Review 23：The hotel is decorated with poor taste - kitch Mattresses were not comfortable. An imposed menu at the restaurant that has costed for me and my 4 year old daughter almost EUR 80.- with only one beer beer for me. The place was (not surprisingly) empty. We had to insist to get eggs for breakfast, and scramble eggs were cold. The waitress seemed in a hurry to finish her service. The concierge did not want to recommend us a restaurant in the village the second day.

Review 24：The location is nice on the lake side and not too far from the ski resort. The room we had was silent although its view on the street behind with traffic and a side on the lake. The balcony allowed us to see the lake.

Review 25：If you want the rooms with lake view, make sure you book the ones looking direct to the lake (parallel to the lake) but not the ones looking 1/3rd of it!

Review 27：There are some hotels with very high rating, and you go there wonder why they have such a high rating. With 7.7 average I did not expect much from this hotel. I've also read very negative reviews, but I had to choose this hotel, I had no choice. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I loved the breakfast, I loved the rooms, and the atmosphere. So I really wonder how and why the people rate hotels the way they do. And I am not related to the hotel owner in any way.

Review 36：The hotel is really old and old fashioned. Old the decoration, floor, fornitures, elevator, .....everything is from the 50's. It is not a 4 stars at all!!!! In adition, the hotel didn't look clean and there were hairs of someone in my pillow and bed clothes! I booked a double room with balcony at the lake front side for 160€ and they gave me room at the corner, that means that I couldn't see the lake from my room. In addition I had to share the terrace with 4 rooms more! There is nothing to do in the town. I recomend Tegernsee , the re are hotels in much more better conditions than SeeHotel and cheaper.

Review 40：The list of random words above is nonsense. There are no mountains in the hotel, for example. Why not add an airport and ski lifts to your list because there isn't either of them. You need to decide what it is you want to know then rephrase the question. We liked the location, grounds, access to the lake, food, high standard of service and the pleasanrt staff.

Review 41：The hotel charges for wifi - which seems outdated. The wifi system isalso irritating - you pay for 1, 3 or 5 hours (I think) and are thengiven a complicated username and password. On my iPhone I had to re-enter these every time I turned my phone on. V. irritating. Very fewgood hotels now charge for wifi, was disappointed this wasn't thecase here.
