Review 5：Large family room with room for children upstairs. A spotlessly clean and quiet hotel. Restaurant welcoming and very good, we ate there 3 nights. Would highly recommend this family run hotel. Owners speak English and German. Hotel is on a very quiet street in a small village. Good base for touring the local countryside. If you stay two or more nights make sure you get the Schwartzwald card, it gives free entry into loads of attractions and amenities (indoor and outdoor swimming, etc) in the area. Great holiday, would definitely go back.

Review 6：Nothing to really dislike, but a couple of suggestions that might have made our stay even more enjoyable; during the winter a kettle in the room would have been nice to make a cup of tea and some information on walks in the area would have been appreciated.

Review 7：We enjoyed our 2 night stay in this charming hotel. Even our dog was warmly welcomed. The staff were very friendly and as it was a wintry weekend we decided to eat in the restaurant both evenings. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! Will recommend!!

Review 12：For our tastes, it was a bit out of the way from Schwarzwald attractions. The restaurant is great, but the coffee in the morning was just too acidic. Also, you had to be done with breakfast by 10am (would be nice to sleep in on a vacation!). No possibility to iron something in the room, and they did not have a loaner iron available. No traditional staffed reception. No possibility to buy something to drink or a snack (i.e. no vending,...). Small TV. People don't speak English. View of fields is not really anything special.
