Review 2：Excellent location on the lake, right next to the swimming pool. Friendly reception, clean spacious rooms, great breakfast with fresh products, excellent lunch and dinning in the hotel and outside of the hotel.
Review 3：Hotel restaurant is a steakhouse (only) - but there are other restaurants (part of the hotel group) a mere one minute away.
Review 4：We had a fantastic room on the first floor at the top of the stairs. A lake view with a long balcony - brilliant! Receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Restaurant was good with excellent friendly service. Great location for getting the boats to the Chiemsee islands.

Review 11：The hotel reception were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. We were traveling by bike and they allowed us a 12:00 checkout so we could leave our belongings at the hotel while we visited Schloss Herrenchiensee.
Review 12：Only one thing was a very slight problem: there was no lift and we didn't discover this until it was too late to change the booking. As I have a problem with my knee this did make things a little difficult but the view from the balcony made it worth it.

Review 14：The hotel needs to either do a deep cleaning of their carpet or replace it, as there were some stains that looked like they had been there a while. The lamp in our room had burns on the shade, which made it look dingy. The door frame to the bathroom in our room was scratched up pretty bad, and it could use a new coat of paint. Despite all of this, however, the place was very clean. The bathroom was reasonably up-to-date, and again, everything was clean.
Review 15：Everything was very clean, despite some things needing updating. The service was great. The breakfast was great. It was one of the best, if not the best that my husband and I have had in Europe, and it was included in the price of the room. The location was excellent, right on the water. The hotel was a real bargain for the location and quality. I would definitely recommend the place to others and stay here again myself.

Review 17：Personel gave me the best welcome since I had used booking.com. Everything was arranged so that when I came very late, I could just go to sleep. Parking is very convinient. Breakfast was very good except one thing - see next box. Inside beautifully arranged in old wooden house style - I loved it.

Review 19：Lovely location in front of the lake Chiemsee. It's a three minute walk from where the Chiemseebahn stops and the ship to the castle island leaves.

Large room with XL bed , sofa, table,chairs and fridge A 25 mins walk into town but some restaurants and bars on the way. Breakfast excellent with range of foods including fresh fish and twenty types of tea to choose from. No lift but wasn't a problem for us.

Review 25：At the reception of the hotel Schlossblick Chiemsee we were advised to have a dinner at the restaurant Schiller Chiemsee Tea that belongs the hotel (same owner). We were unpleasantly surprised because the restaurant received only credit cards issued in Germany???, and I had only MC issued in Zurich CH. At the reception of the hotel I normally paid with this card, and recommended restaurant rejected the same MC card, without any explanation? Regards, Dag Materljan

Review 28：the room was practically in front the road n parking. the room was actually on the road n people can actually see half of our body on the window. no privacy at all, noisyyyy.. the rug was old, smelly and the bed was too small for a tall couple like us. wifi, not to desire. oh the plce has no ATM or bank at all, no credit cards acceptable in any place except hotel. keep handy with cash, otherwise take a 40min . ride by car . outside the town.

Review 65：I have booked a room for two persons which was at the regular price (not on an offer). The room was on the ground floor, with a view at the parking, with half of the lamps out of order, furnished with the oldest furniture I have ever met at a hotel and of course without a mini-bar or a place out of the room with ice supply although the temperature was high. No wi-fi could reach our room. There was not an appropriate lobby, where we could sit and read a book, just a small couch and all the available chairs belonged to the restaurant, so we had to order something every time we used them.
