Reviews for Hotel Rosengarten
Review 1:in the mini bar was missing drinks (2 bot coca cola) and we found open chocolate bar. hotel restaurant closed on monday and all 3 local restaurants we have visited did not have menu in english.
Review 2:big room (suit)
Review 3:WIFI was a bit patchy and fell out regularly but no real problem to log back on just annoying
Review 4:hotel in the middle of Bad sal ideal for town large rooms very clean borrowed a kettle and some cups from reception ...
Review 5:No fresh smell at entrance, old smell. Hard to connect the WIFI.
Review 6:Once WIFI worked it worked well. Excellent key system if arriving late. Breakfast was excellent.
Review 7:We were unaware our room was in a different hotel, on a side street. The front desk clerk was visibly annoyed when we asked to be shown how to get there and did not offer any help with our luggage. We asked for an iron and again we were met with an attitude like we were a burden. It seemed as if they were understaffed and overwhelmed.
Review 8:Room was clean, breakfast buffet was good, Wi-Fi was ok, close to town.
Review 9:Nothing.
Review 10:After a long motorcycle ride from Scotland this hotel was a great resting place. Nice young lady to welcome me. Quick check in. Tidy if dated room. Excellent location. Brilliant breakfast. Very good value.
Review 11:We stayed in Konighaus room 22. The Refridgerator, 1 light in Bathroom wasn't working. The black sofa was very uncomfortable. No desk/table for computer in the room.
Review 12:Unfortunately, we were not in the main hotel overlooking the main attraction, but in a separate building around the corner, so no views of 'the spa hedge'.
Review 13:My room was an entire suite!
Review 14:The WiFi was far from stable, and working from the hotel room proved not to be as easy as it should have been. I suggest to invest some Euros to improve it.
Review 15:Perfect location half a minute from the tourist center and the old town. Excellent breakfast, cand friendly staff. Good value for money.
Review 16:I was too short to notice anything
Review 17:nice family hotel, very clean, nice breakfast, wifi, nice view, quiet area
Review 18:Great place. Clean rooms, friendly staff, super breakfast.
Review 19:we live in another building across the street
Review 20:Central location, parking, clean room
Review 21:The suit and the quietness of the place closer to the city.
Review 22:Clean and proximity to town.
Review 23:No lift available
Review 24:The breakfast
Review 25:Elektronische Geraete veraltert, etwas staubig.
Review 26:Gebaeude, freundliche Mitarbeiter, Fruehstueck
Review 27:this time we did not get what we expected room wise , so left after 1 night and moved on.
Review 28:we have stayed here twice before, great.
Review 29:At the moment all these reconstructions in vicinity (hopefully will be completed shortly)
Review 30:Excellent location, convenient parking
Review 31:The shower could have been bigger and the room faced the road which was noisy with the window open. The mattress was uncomfortable.
Review 32:The location was excellent. The room was nicely furnished, bright and a good size.
Review 33:no kettle in room, lots of stairs, old furniture, the room was a bit cold breakfast room crowded and breakfast was limited
Review 34:staff helpful, kettle supplied after request, good location , parking available, large room
Review 35:I was not in the main hotel - I was in a separate building around the corner, which I didn't enjoy so much, as I am not breakfast eater, the only contact I had with the hotel was check-in and check-out I didn;t feel part of the 'hotel' experience, as you couldn't just walk downstairs from your room for a coffee for example or just sit in the garden - perhaps for those staying in the separate building there should be some tea&coffee making facilities as you are in a residential street not one with bars/coffee places etc.
Review 36:the location within walking distance of everything there is to do and enjoy in the lovely area
Review 37:The rooms are not actually in the Hotel Rosengarten, they are about 200 meters away in a separate building, which has no facilities whatsoever.
Review 38:The room allocated was a good size and was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and well presented. The staff were very helpful.
Review 39:No tea making facility in room and having to obtain a daily password to access the free wifi. Breakfast was served a bit late for my business trip (8am) - so could only have breakfast at weekend.
Review 40:Lovely and traditional; staff were great. Very polite and friendly, eager to help in whatever way necessary. Hotel was very clean and my room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Great dining room and garden. Hotel is situated right in the centre of town, but seemed quiet and exclusive!
Review 41:Having to cross road to reach main building where breakfast was served. No restaurant on site.
Review 42:Convienance to town. Staff very helpful. Breakfast very good. Room very nice and good en-suite.
Review 43:Very small room - although balcony would have been pleasant if the weather had been suitable. Fan extractor in bathroom needed cleaning ++ and outside of shower cubicle next to sink was very grubby
Review 44:Excellent position near KurPark. Good breakfast
Review 45:Personel didn't know a word in English. On a breakfast there werelack of plates so we were wondering around looking for them and thentrying to show with signs that there are no plates. Finaly theyunderstood what we wanted to show them... Same situation with food. Whatwas over was... Well... Over. Empty serving disches.
Review 46:Rooms are ok, location is probably the best in Bad Salzuflen. Maybebecause of that everything else is so-so
Review 47:I paid for a double room with a balcony and my colleague paid for a single room. I got a double room, no balcony and he got an apartment with a roodtop terrace. Upon checkout, his bill was considerably lower than mine and although the staff English had been more than sufficient throughout my stay, when I pointed this out, suddenly they couldn't understand me. They tried to charge me for breakfasts that I hadn't had and were generally quite rude. The cleaning staff had a tendency to leave the room unlocked after cleaning it. Towels were never replaced, despite leaving them out for them to be so. The room, despite being apparently in a newly refurbished part of the hotel. was rife with damp. In short, if you want to stay in a nice hotel, with pleasant staff and all at a good price, stay at the Ringhotel Lippischer Hof instead.
Review 48:It was close to the location I needed to be in.
Review 49:Nothing realy
Review 50:The friendly staff, even though we arrived later much than planned, with typical Germanic organisation things were sorted out
Review 51:The mattresses were a bit on the old side.
Review 52:the homely atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Review 53:Wonderful location, lovely views of park free parking would recommend this hotel.Easy walking
Review 54:No conditioners, no fans. If it more then 25 degrees C., then it will be hot night ahead!
