Review 1：I don't like the lack of safety bars in the showers in Europe. As asenior, I find this lack of security upsetting.

Review 16：The room is very small and lacked some cleaning in the bathroom with built up grime around shower screens and the tiles in the shower needed some mould spray and extra cleaning. Bed room walls were also a bit grubby.

Review 18：I was shown to my room by the staff. We walked up two flights of stairs but I was not offered assistance with my suitcase or backpack. That would have been a welcomed gesture.

Review 20：The bed was nearing the end of its useful life, I think. There was a horrible, plastic coated mattress protector which rucked up underneath me and made me very hot, which was most uncomfortable, also the pillows were oddly lumpy and even when we acquired an extra one each, we couldn't get comfortable. There were no comfortable chairs anywhere - one in our room was O.K., but the other was really not. There was nowhere comfortable to sit in the evening with our travelling companions. We sat in the bar/restaurant which was chilly, but it's fair to say that this might have been due to the building work going on in the next room.My sister's room was very cramped and had poor lighting and was on a different floor to ours.
Review 21：Location was excellent - only a short walk to the centre of Goslar but very quiet at night, which is important for me because I am a light sleeper. The breakfast was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. My negative comments below should be tempered by the fact that the hotel is obviously undergoing refurbishment, so perhaps these concerns will be addressed before too long.

Review 27：Be aware that this is more of a Bed and Breakfast. A small bar issituated in the lounge which closes at 10pm. Only breakfast is served ,no restaurant , although there are many places to eat in the city so noworries there. Would have liked tea/coffee facilites in the room ratherthan a typically overpriced mini bar.
Review 28：We booked a family suite ( a double room, single room and bathroom) andalso stayed with our dog. The suite was perfect, plenty of space, lovelyhuge bathroom and very comfortable. The location was perfect, less than5 min walk to the market square. There is a car park at the rear of theproperty which is securely locked over night. Breakfast was a typicalgerman continental breakfast which was plentiful and good value. All inall, it was a very comforatable and value for money room. Goslar is verywelcoming and very pretty - we enjoyed our visit :-)
