Review 1：There was no WiFi signal in my room, so the wifi access code I was given was useless. There was also no reading light next to the bed -- the ceiling lights were industrially bright and useless for reading in bed. Overall the room felt a bit sterile and not particularly cozy. The hotel's location is, for anybody without a car, probably not the greatest -- a 7-10 minute walk from public transit that takes you to the city center and train station in 15 minutes.

Review 2：The room was clean, the staff friendly, and easy to find. Plus it happens to be a short two minute walk from friends who live in the area.

Review 3：The air conditioning in several rooms were not working and they are very old style of units and are obviously not being replaces or repaired as they go out. A main reason to stay was air conditioning and this advertised as present but is actually a hit and miss affair. Not really many amenities.

Review 4：The parking was easy and the cleanliness was good. Breakfast was also good and the kitchen decent for late dinners. The staff was generally friendly.

Review 5：It's a bit outside from downtown. You need a car or public transportation to go downtown.

Review 7：Mein Zimmer hatte sogar eine Steckdose "PC-Modem (analog)"! Leider hatte ich meinen LapTop mit PC-anlaog-Modem aber schon 1995 ausgemustert. Also - Nostalgiefans, ab nach Jena.

Review 8：Cold room, heating is a old fashioned blower that has to be turned off when you want to sleep, even if you're cold in the night. The blanket doesn't help much either, its length is too short to cover your feet and body simultaneously. A bit of a disappointment. And there is no water cooker for tea or coffee, also no free water bottle, the tapwater tastes horrible.

Review 10：The hotel has a card that allows you to use public transport free of charge. Five minute walk to the tram stop at Winzerla, tram every 15 minutes. Bus stop is closer.

Review 13：1. number of breakfast options was substantially reduced from usual range of breakfast available due to the increased number of guests staying at the hotel for the conference at that time. 2. no fridge, no kettle and no coffee/tea, unless personally requested. These items should be made available for a 4-star hotel as claimed. 3. taking 30 mins to city centre, so it's better and more convenient for those who have business in the city centre to rather book a hotel in the city centre area - lots more options to choose from.

Review 15：The wi-fi is free and supposed to be fast. Unfortunately, every evening,the wi-fi was very very slow. It was impossible to call my wife viatelephone over ip even without the webcam which was very frustrating.Except that, everything was perfect. One additional comment is that thepublic transport is included in the hotel but not enough advertise atthe reception.

Review 39：Be careful when you pay. They can cheat you. I paid in advance for the stay and breakfasts excluding the last breakfast because I was leaving early in the morning. When I gave the keys back leaving the hotel the man at the reception demanded to pay for one more breakfast. He pretended that he did not understand my explanations with presentation of receipts. I didn't have time to argue or to call the police (although it should have been) because I had to catch a train to the plane (I was waiting for long time this person at the reception). So I had to pay. Finally, the only memory about this hotel is a place where you can be robbed.

Review 42：The hotel is far from the city centre. They provide a shuttle service that can be booked to go to the city but not to come back. Winzerla is the nearest tram station, 10 min walk from the hotel, not a nice walk at night. The WiFi worked but initial login page would not load (in the android smartphone or in the mac). The computer for guests at the lobby did not work either.

Review 50：When we arrived around 8pm after a 14 hour car journey from the uk, wewere disappointed to find reception unmanned and a message sayingsomeone would be along shortly. We waited for 15 minutes and noonecame. We went to the bar to ask for assistance and were told in a veryabrupt and rude manner by the lady bar tender that we would just haveto wait if that is what the message said on reception. We find itextraordinary first of all to find reception unmanned for so long butthen to be refused assistance and being spoken to in such a rude waywas astonishing. We almost left the hotel there and then. This isextremely poor service and we are of a mind to report it to BestWestern Head Office.

Review 58：The Hotel is quite tired certainly not the standard of a modern fourstar hotel. Its location is on the edge of town about a 10 to 15 minutedrive into town or about 25 minutes by tram. The hotel reminded me of a1980's Post House motorway hotel very bland and completely unmemorable.Everything is painted in a washed out pink including the exterior of thebuilding. The rooms are equipped with old fashioned individual air conmachines that while be efficient were noisy.Its not a bad hotel if you have to stay for business but for a couple on holiday it was a real disappointment and really poor value for money. If you are travelling for pleasure I would stay in Erfurt or Weimar where there is a bigger selection of hotels.
