Review 1：Access to hotel parking not well signposted. Around the back. Curtains very thin so sun wakes you up early. Church bells nearby ring every hour from 6am.

Review 2：Arrived late and still got drinks until about 23h00. Friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Very central in shopping and pedestrian area.

Review 3：It can be a little tricky to locate the parking lot; however we were there during the Altstadt Fest so a lot of roads were closed which might have made it more difficult than normal.

Review 7：The city centre has traffic limitations like one way roads and it was therefore necessary to get map and the description from the hotel to find the parking.

Review 8：Its in the city centre. The hotel building is beautiful, the room nice, the staff very friendly, the breakfast large with eggs and sausages et . The car could be parked for free just outside. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. A very nice stay!

Review 10：Staff very helpful and although we did not speak much German they did help. would go back again. When breakfast room was full they opened another room for 6 of us. Rooms very clean. Evening meal in Hotel was brilliant.

Review 11：Room directly accross from a lively pub!!, asked for a double, got a twin, staff member said its not a problem as i could remove center table and push them together....basicaly not interested.

Review 12：Breakfast in morning brill, wide choice of cooked meats, cheeses and fruit. Hot bacon sausage and eggs..good beer and generally good friendly staff, until you have a problem!!!

Review 13：The chiming of the clock of the nearby St Nickolai Kirche, starting at 6am, however on a positive note you knew what time it was ! For me this was not particularly disturbing.

Review 14：The location was excellent, bang in the middle of town, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars and the wonderful Ratskellar. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. For the smokers there is a dedicated furnished room, so no hanging around outside. The accommodation is in two parts, and I stayed in a separate newer house in the rear square, hence the clock chiming. The main accommodation backs on to the pedestrian only main road, so was much quieter. The original building has a very interesting historical back story, relevant to the town. There is an area, complete with hangars for you to leave your luggage after booking out if you are not leaving straight away.

Review 18：Frau Schrieber was very polite and helpful and went that extra mile to help me out in all aspects of my stay. I had been unfortunately in a car accident in Rinteln and she was very instrumental on getting me back to the UK with as little hassle as possible. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. The food excellent and the staff fantastic and polite....7star treatment Thank you all there

Review 19：There was no air conditioning.. I asked if a fan was available. Which there wasn't. The receptionist put the phone down on me twice. I then had go down to reception to ask for a change of room as there was a family party going on directly outside my room till 2am. I had a quite rude receptionist asking why was it a problem. Eventually changed rooms due to this.. I think being a paying guest one would expect better treatment.

Review 22：Charming hotel located in the historic quaint Altstadt. We had a large room with balcony, table and chairs as well as flowers outside. The breakfast was also excellent.

Review 23：No tea/coffee making facilities. Not all rooms have balconies. Mine was above a courtyard which echoed the conversations up at night. Closing the window solved that however it was rather a hot night I would have preferred the window open. But that's about all that was wrong.

Review 26：Having lived in Rinteln between 1986 and 1996, I returned to meet up with old friends as where we used to work was closing down. The Stadt Kassel not only provided the ideal base, it made me feel instantly at home after 18 years away.
