On the western edge of Pensionin Prien so a bit of a walk to Chiemsee. Close to a Bäckerei Bauer andlocal restaurants but 1km to a grocery store. Good location to baseout of if motorcycling the Chiemsee region of Bavaria, Germany orTyrol, Austria.Room Tip: Corner room close to the front is very large,

Review 10：This was the first place we stayed that we could open the window without too much street noise. The bathroom was roomy and had a cart to hold our toiletries. We had an "apartment" for four people, and there was room to move around. Breakfast selection was very nice.

Review 21：The staff was limited in their English, but then we were in their country. Our problem, not theirs. I thought the early house cleaning was a touch too early. They posted 10 AM and housekeeping was there at 10!
Review 22：We stayed in Prien Am Cheimsee on our way to Munich on vacation. The hotel is very nice and convenient to the castle and other small towns. Very peaceful stay. The breakfast was total German style.
Review 23：Clean room and facilities, friendly helpful staff, easy walk to shopping centre, restaurants, train and bus links. Supermarket is close at hand. Large rooms and really good buffet breakfast. Refrigerated drinks available to buy at any time of the day. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
Review 24：On the weekend (busier time) we had to ration the hot water for showers. But, it is an old building. We were downstairs. Because of the old building floors we could hear every footstep. Nothing was really too bad though. Overall, great stay and highly recommended.

We had floor level and had a whole patio to ourselves, the mini fridge was a nice surprise and the wifi actually worked in the room. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was normal European buffet type. We were full every morning though! They had a fridge of drinks for late night purchases. There's a grocery store directly across the street. The location was only about 10-15 min walk from the lake. But, there were many restaurants within 5 min walking.
