Reviews for SJ Rooms
Review 1:The place is nice, cosy and very comfortable. It is located in the middle of farmlands which makes it very quiet. And the owner is really nice, she made us feel like at home.
Review 2:Not a bad thing per se, but it is located 10 min drive away from Tonder in a rural area so there's not much around. We had a car so this was not an issue.
Review 3:Great room and facilities at a great price. Bathroom is very spacious. Other guests were rarely around so it almost felt like we had a whole apartment to ourselves.
Review 4:Lovely old building, it has been renovated and is very comfy, the staff was open, friendly and very helpful, The food was excellent and service and prices ‘perfect’. GREAT STAY. Peter & Patricia Hansen, Australia
Review 5:Not the things I didn't like, but for visitor information: there's no bars or restaurants around (at least I didn't notice). For that you will have to go to Tonder, which is few miles away. Also there's a pebble parking near the hotel.
Review 6:I'll start with the fact, that Denmark is probably one of the most tourist friendly places in Europe. This was by far the most homelike and comfortable hotel experience I've had during 13 day of my solo Europe tour. The owner of the place was very helpful and communicative. The place had a large and well placed tourist orientated map with lots of points of interest, suggestions. Lots of other material. My room was the biggest I've ever stayed so far. On the other hand, the common bathroom was almost the same size, wow! There's also a well arranged kitchen with a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine and all smaller things you could ever need. Also a little garden outside. There's also some animals around - Horses, cats and the dog. Not sure about the breed, but that dog is almost as big as Sembernar. She's also super friendly. Maybe, geographically, this place is not in the best location in Denmark overall, but from there, on a motorbike, i was able to enjoy Romo island, visit Blavad and drive through some other places. Taking into consideration the price and the fact i was moving to Copenhagen next day was a perfect solution. Oh, and the internet was great! Don't get me wrong, it's a countryside budget stay, there's no luxury at all, but it felt very good and has everything you could possibly need and more. This is the place I would absolutely recommend to stay. Then, if you are traveling to Copenhagen - you must visit Egeshkov castle on the way, just make sure you have more than 2-3 hours for that place.
Review 7:Television in room got about 2 channels.
Review 8:Fit the bill for 1 night; bed was comfortable and room looked over the horse corral (which was fun to watch the horses). Access to kitchen and ability to make coffee a plus. Everything clean. Not close to any shopping or restaurants (for me it was fine).
Review 9:Suprisingly hot weather for Denmark :)
