Reviews for Paradise Cove Resort

Review 1:Nothing.

Review 2:Really really friendly and helpful staff. They helped us everything. Food are very nice. Beautiful place. We received Christmas gift and it was very nice.

Review 3:Nothing!

Review 4:Paradise cove is fabulous! Beautiful location, stunning beach, fun and friendly staff that make you feel so welcome, lots to do and the food is fantastic!!! They finished off our honeymoon a treat, if only it weren't so far away we would be back every year!!

Review 5:Any discount next time?

Review 6:The resort itself is a wonderful location for snorkeling, the water is so pure with great amazing clarity, the corals are so beautiful! Lots of free activities. Nice and friendly staff. Salute to Lui and his two brothers, wonderful singers, esp. the harmony! By the way, food is also delicious.

Review 7:Nothing. Everything was perfect

Review 8:Very good experience at paradise cove. Amazing resort. Bungalows are very nice and beautiful and well maintained. Staff at the resort is very professional welcoming and so nice. Food is amazing - so good!!!!! Beach is beautiful. Free wifi there. Breakfast great. Everything is perfect.

Review 9:On booking.com it was not clear to us,that it costs 159 FJD per person per day for the meal plan which includes all the food then. It is a fair price from the hotel but it should be more visible while booking on booking.com

Review 10:The staff was unbelievably friendly and welcoming. We had a double room but it was entirely renovated, very spacious and beautiful. The resort has everything you need: SUPs, Kayaks, Snorkeling equipment for free and a very nice beach. The food was amazing and included in the meal plan. On Saturday they did a Kava Ceremony and a Fijian Buffet which was so great. Perfect place to stay for weeks!

Review 11:I usually don’t do resort holidays and I prefer staying at small hotels preferably boutique style. So Paradise Cove was the closest to that as Fiji is mostly resort central…. We just couldn’t fault the place: Great room in garden view bungalow with outdoor bathroom and everything works…. Be aware all garden bungalows face an inner courtyard so this is not romance material. Might have to upgrade. Awesome menu a la carte for lunch and diner, my partner was delighted. Very spacious and well set up pool area with a bar. Because the resort faces North East you won’t get the sunset you can enjoy at the Octopus Resort, but everything else is better. Navi at the Dive Shop was ever so friendly and helpful. Good diving with 20 m visibility. And finally every staff was so friendly and look happy to be here. So yes top marks despite the steep prices.

Review 12:There was a compulsory food combo which was not reflected in the room price. Not big deal but could be better if you let us know its existence when we booking.

Review 13:Truly relax. Taking the seaplane is so fun. Relatively good food.

Review 14:rocky beach, not much soft sandy beach for little ones to play. and wish they could have more Asian food to choose from. Also, there are less activities on weekends, which made our short stay on weekend a bit more "beachy".

Review 15:the water is unbelievable, and the food are fantastic, and the kitchen can deliver the food to your room at time you want, amazing! The staff there are very helpful.

Review 16:Pebbles on the beach make it hard to get into the water.

Review 17:We loved it here and wished we could have stayed longer. Staff are so friendly and helpful, room was lovely - we only managed a garden villa as we picked up a cancelled room but would 100% book the beachfront villa with plunge pool next time. Food was fabulous - to be so far away from the mainland and to produce such great food and variety was unexpected and amazing.

Review 18:Nothing. Well, the weather on my birthday wasn't great but you can't blame the resort for that!

Review 19:Everything! The location, staff, rooms, activities, but most importantly the food - wow - beautiful, 5 star quality meals (and 5 course dinners!) The lovo buffet was one of the best I've ever had. Swimming with mantarays was phenomenal. The whole stay was amazing :)

Review 20:The television in our room was not functional due to a network error

Review 21:Excellent food, facilities, friendly staff, and a remarkable location. The manager was very understanding and friendly.

Review 22:Arriving by seaplane to paradise. Helpful and friendly staff. AMAZING food at every meal with gluten intolerance fully catered for (including freshly baked bread & pasta). Fresh fish caught daily by Bill was beautiful. Gorgeous and genuine staff. Kindly upgraded to an amazing room with huge and tranquil bathroom. Comfy bed and great spaces for lounging when not at the beach. We have pretty high expectations when travelling and Paradise Cove met all of them. Would return in a heartbeat. Left by Helicopter...also an exceptional experience.

Review 23:The fact we had to leave. The only fault was our toilet seat was on at an angle but this was not a concern to us.

Review 24:The staff, the food, the accommodation and the activities to do were faultless. This place is a paradise and is deserving of its reputation. Just hope it stays like this and doesn't go downhill.

Review 25:It would be nice to have the option of a gym but this is a very minor downside to this amazing place. Plenty other activities to act as a work out.

Review 26:The staff were wonderful and all made us feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. The food was tremendous and I'm pretty sure we tried every cocktail on the fab menu. This place is a true tropical remote paradise with a stunning beach, snorkelling immediately in front of the resort and a super range of activities to work off the amazing food.

Review 27:We found the dinners to be ok not a lot to pick from we thought lunch was much superior. The beach can be very windy and a bit rough to swim in at times its not in a sheltered area but it is a lovely beach. Could do with some paving stones to walk on if you prefer rather than just the sand to your rooms it comes hard to walk on after a while.

Review 28:Very modern resort with great wi-fi and fantastic genuinely friendly staff. Good sized room, we had the small bungalow.

Review 29:We expected the seaplane transport to link in with the international flight details we gave to the airways. This worked well on arrival but on departure was disappointing. Fiji style is relaxed but we wanted to make the most of a short stay on the resort.

Review 30:Very relaxed, friendly and excellent service. We were disappointed that we had to leave earlier than expected due to the seaplane's schedule but the staff response made our trip even the more memorable.

Review 31:AC was scetchy

Review 32:A wonderful holiday. The garden room was very nice, the food was exceptional and as for the staff you couldn't of asked for better, thanks Tim to you and your team for making it a most memorable holiday.

Review 33:Nothing we will be back!!!!

Review 34:An amazing location managed by a fantastic team! The resort has fantastic rooms beach villas are worth the $. I'm a foodie and I loved every meal. So many activities and all fairly cheap!!! I had massages every day.

Review 35:The villa we stayed in was magical. Four poster bed with gosmere curtains, an open air bathroom set in a private tropical garden with two showers side by side was stunning. The beach an facilities are also amazing. Be prepared for the heat though! It's very humid and although rooms have aircon the resturant and bar etc are all open air.

Review 36:Stay was too short ! Although effective the service was sometimes very slow ...but that's Fidjian time and holidays ...so..

Review 37:All of it ! Garden bungalow was spacious and comfy, the food amazing, service friendly and effective, the site was beautiful and calm, many sea & beach activities. If we come back w'll try the beach bungalow which is higher standard, just for pleasure. If you can take the sea-plane to get there, the price worth it ! We had loved it.

Review 38:Dirty beach and poor kids club activities

Review 39:Very good service, very nice food with great decoration, privet dinner, nanny Lesy and big Joe in diving club, beautiful villa 17, take care about us when we needed in a second And smile on their faces every time.

Review 40:The choral reef immediately on front of the resort is limited enough but there are some colourful fish. only having 4 nights there.

Review 41:Paradise Cove is wonderful. We went n early January and the weather was generally good. A couple of cloudy half days. The staff are attentive and friendly, the place is spotless, the food is excellent. You can rent snorkel gear for a reasonable price and borrow kayaks and paddle boards for free. The transfers by boat are very well run and reliable. We got the sea plane back because of the time of our connecting flight and, while it was expensive, it was a great experience and saved a 3.5hr boat trip! Not that the boat trip is bad.

Review 42:Food was amazing, 5 star quality. Wifi worked extremely well and even on the beach! Rooms were spacious (we had a garden bungalow which was perfectly adequate), comfortable bed and lots of space for clothes. Staff were wonderful, but this is the norm everywhere we have stayed in Fiji. Highly recommend.

Review 43:Drinks are expensive. Bar staff not knowledgable about wines. Office staff not well informed about airport transfers.

Review 44:Wonderful staff Fabulous location Great food Terrific value Highly recommend

Review 45:Couldn't really fault this place and I loved every minute but if I am being completely picky, The staff in the restaurant could probably do with a little bit of extra training. A few occasions our dishes haven't been cleared away when we were served the next course, or had no cutlery. The view from the garden rooms was the staff quarters and generator Other than this -faultless

Review 46:Staff were fantastic Really comfortable bed and lovely room. I really liked the outdoor shower Food was amazing-plenty of choice and the presentation was superb Peaceful resort but with plenty of things to do Staff remembered your name

Review 47:The beach stones hard on the feet! The pool was closed for most of our stay, but it was okay because we had the beach..Thought it was unusual when we made quite a large tip to the staff fund upon checking out, and were not thanked!! Felt a bit miffed by that..

Review 48:The friendly staff, socialising with the other travellers, top notch meals, snorkelling/kayaking. Fantastic holiday all up..Would highly recommend this resort to couples who love to get away from it all on a beautiful island..

Review 49:This place is what dreams are made of. Absolutely beautiful location. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. And the compulsory food package was amazing! Would come back in a heart beat!

Review 50:The only small defect was the limited snorkeling from the beach, only a few patches of coral. But the resort offers a free snorkeling journey every day which makes up for it.

Review 51:Everything in this resort exceded our expectations. We did not really know what to expect from our first trip to Fiji but the whole family loved the place. It had such a special vibe - both excuisite and relaxed. Our web-crazed teenagers could surf without limit on the fast in-room wifi (every room has its own router), paddle-board or kayak for a change, or splash in the good-sized pool. We enjoyed the lovely music at the bar and restaurant, including the talented playing and singing of staff in the evenings. But the best feature of the resort was by far the food - a real gastronomic experience at every meal. We live in France and have travelled all over the world but have rarely withnessed such quality in taste and presentation. And service was on a par with big restaurants. How do they do it on such a remote island? We all still speak about. Paradise cove with nostalgia, amazing place. Bula

Review 52:Nothing...really.

Review 53:Simply everything. Having read the reviews, we had fairly high expectations, but Paradise Cove managed to top them all! We loved our stay, it was a garden bungalow, simple but clean and cozy, was perfect for us. Food was amazing, lots of different activities, great organization of arrival and departure, and above all, the staff!! Probably the heart and soul of this place are the people working here, genuinely friendly, open and welcoming (and here special thanks to Lui, Sai, Will, Posh and all the others for making our stay perfect!!). Wish we could have stayed longer, but hey.. we'll be back!! Ahh.. and did I mention the food was amazing? :)

Review 54:We didn't like, (that's putting it mildly), the boat ride back to the main island when we left. The sea was turbulent and it was the worst experience of our lives, literally being afraid for our lives. Others on the boat were nautious and got seasick and we were barely able to hold on to our seats. It was obvious that the weather was not favorable and we wished that the staff would have informed us of the possibility of having a rough voyage since we could have easily left earlier in the day on the larger cruise boat. It is our opinion that your shuttle boat is not safe when the weather is not favorable. Even if the locals are not concerned about it being safe while traveling during implement weather, as a tourist I would never recommend that means of transportation.

Review 55:We liked the location, the relaxed, quiet atmosphere, the food and most of the staff.

Review 56:If u want to take a tour to blue lagoon its no possible from the hotel! The dinner can take some time (but who is in a hurry in Fiji?)

Review 57:AMAZING is the word to dircribe the staff! Everybody was incredible and very helpful! The hotel was perfect with kayak and SUP avaiable all the time. The food was delicious! There are daily activities that u can do. Some u have to oay extra... Snorkel is also extra!

Review 58:We didn't stay here long enough. We stayed at a different, higher end, resort for a longer period of time. Wish we had spent the entire time here instead. Better in every way.

Review 59:Service, food, amenities, everything was perfect. Exceeded standards of other resorts, which had lower quality but higher costs. Snorkeling and other activities were included.

Review 60:the weather, late october was very wet. Transport via resort boat unreliable , either use Flyer or fly.

Review 61:a great resort, fantastic food and staff. our beach side villa was superb, lots of activities and snorkelling off the beach great.

Review 62:There were more young children than adults at this resort. Several families with 3 or more children, most under the age of 5, several infants. For a young couple on our honeymoon, this was not what we wanted.

Review 63:Great food, great rooms, fair prices. Lots of fun activities to participate in daily. Staff is amazing. Located very close to the Manta channel. Swimming with the manta rays was awesome!

Review 64:Would warn about kids ,if you are looking for kid free zone. ,would recommend not to go in school holidays. We went out of school holidays and There were some very young ones there ,who were lovely little ones. However there was a family with some older ones ,very loud and at times took over pool area.We don't like bad manners.

Review 65:Loved Paradise cove ,the people involved ,so lovely and helpful. Great food and accommodation. The island i and water are beautiful. We love Fiji, and have going there since 2006,no better place in the world to take a break !!!

Review 66:Meal plan excellent-great value. We would highly recommend both the Garden Villas and beach front Villas, if possible go for one of these two the Garden Bungalows although cheaper do not have such a pleasant outlook and are not stand alone units. The staff are incredible and this is a very well run resort. We also took the seaplane which meant straight to the airport on day of check out with no hassle. Geoff & Michelle Tauranga

Review 67:From the moment we arrived we knew that this place was not right for us. The staff are not attentive and make you feel like they could not care less if you are there or not. The property for us just did not have a good feeling about it. I will admit we are used to 4 star - 5 star resorts and this place was a low 3 for us. It had such good reviews I thought it would be fine. I use TripAdvisor allot to get information from other clients so will not turn my nose up at something just because its cheaper as I don't think you can necessarily rate something just based on price. It is fine for anyone wanting cheap accommodation but bare in mind there is not much atmosphere at this place. I have stayed in cheaper places that had more of an atmosphere and attentive staff. We had just come from Tokoriki which we absolutely loved! the staff were warm and genuine. We could not wait to get out of this place and checked out the next day and went to Yasawa Spa Resort which was heaven. At Paradise Cove as mentioned you felt like you were aimlessly left to your own devices without much direction or information from the staff and it felt like a camping ground.

Review 68:What I didn't like is the fact I couldn't stay longer!!!

Review 69:What I loved about the this resort was the people and the beautiful scenery. Waking up to the sounds of waves crashing on the beach, not to meantion the five star cruising!!! Simply amazing, we will be back next year... Very relaxing by far!

Review 70:Need a children's pool, current pool too deep for kids but thats about it. We didn't have children but it is just an observation

Review 71:It was new, tidy, not over crowded and in a nice location, excellent food and staff, very friendly and accommodating, rooms were excellent and well appointed.

Review 72:Beach is washed away and reef is not in good shape

Review 73:Great rooms

Review 74:Great Food, very friendly staff

Review 75:food

Review 76:The reef was smaller than other islands but very pretty. Walks around island are good fun though.

Review 77:Everything

Review 78:It rained whilse we were there but friendly and accomodating staff made it enjoyable. Food is excellent!!!

Review 79:The food is perfect.

Review 80:The food in this resort is awesome and can join many activities. Staff always give you smile :)

Review 81:Leaving

Review 82:Paradise it is!

Review 83:As little too expensive. Drinks are not included in meal plan.

Review 84:Wonderful resort, very nice staff and amazing food.

Review 85:nothing

Review 86:Staff was very friendly and helpful

Review 87:Great 5 days relaxing and snorkelling, not to mention kayaking around the island. Pleased to have snorkelled with the mantra rays.

Review 88:An incredible holiday! The food was outstanding! Cannot wait to return!!

Review 89:Good food but too small portions.

Review 90:Good choice of free activities and excursions, beautiful garden near the bungalows.

Review 91:The location was fantastic, the staff very friendly and efficient, great food. Snorkeling with the manta rays was awesome!

Review 92:feel sad to stay just 2days

Review 93:great food. great service. everything perfect

Review 94:Not much

Review 95:Food was awesome

Review 96:The staff were wonderful. They accommodated any extra needs and were easy going.

Review 97:Nothing

Review 98:We Loved the location, accommodation, staff, and food. The snorkel and water activities are great.

Review 99:The mossies were plentiful as well as the huge amount of flies, especially during lunch time, made it most unpleasant.

Review 100:The friendly people of Fiji!

Review 101:Friendly staff. Excellent food. Beautiful pool. Kayaks and diving equipment available. Beautiful quiet beach.

Review 102:Liked everything!

Review 103:Working for an airline I've travelled quite extensively but nothing even comes close to this place. Everything was amazing.

Review 104:Nothing, we stayed on another Island following and wished we didn't! Should have stayed at Paradise....

Review 105:Food was incredible

Review 106:NOthing !

Review 107:EVERYthing ! The food was international top standard!

Review 108:Loved the food it was fantastic. Loved free use of watersports Loved the staff - they were so lovely Loved everything and going back.

Review 109:great spot to just relax!

Review 110:To leave to soon!

Review 111:Place, Staff, Food, Sea, Accommodation, everything was perfect!

Review 112:New resort, great room with nice outdoor shower. Friendly staff, excellent food Free wifi, nice beach en nice snorkeling in front of resort.

Review 113:The boat they use to transfer guests goes too fast and feels a bit unsafe. The power generator should be insulated to reduce constant humming noise. While food was pretty good some items were stale, like yoghurt for example. Also having to pay extra for coffee at breakfast and fruit at lunch.

Review 114:Location and design of cottages. Atmosphere.

Review 115:Very friendly staff, couldnt do enough for you. The meals were brilliant. Had a really relaxing break and will definitely return. Lobster for Dinner on the beach was fantastic, Private picnics were brilliant. Great accommodation and facilities

Review 116:No complaints - quite possibly one of the best resorts/holidays we have been on.

Review 117:Location, staff, food, activities and accommodation were all excellent. Food was a particular highlight, with many of the dishes at a 4-5 star standard.

Review 118:Not staying longer.

Review 119:We visited Paradise Cove for our honeymoon for 7 nights this past April/May 2014. Everything from the warm welcome from the staff onwards was beyond amazing. The water was picture perfect, the food was great and the staff was very attentive. Personally, I have worked in a 5 star hotel in San Francisco for some years and the service at Paradise Cove exceeded most of what was given at that property. Make sure you book the Manta Ray trip, the handling fishing, village visit, and anything else they offer. They also offer plenty of free canoes and paddle boards to take out whenever you like. Paddle around the side of the island for the sunset or hike up to Sunset Point. This resort gives you a calm channel In between Islands that NO other resort in the Yasawa islands really do. Also, this is NOT a backpacker style resort so rest assure you will not have to deal with a party scene, just a relaxed environment to enjoy. We stayed in a bungalow unit that was clean and very close to the beach. The resort loans you snorkel equipment in which you can take out for excellent snorkeling right off the beach, and plenty of seating with beach chairs on the shore. We will be back for sure.

Review 120:We were not informed about the construction noise but it wasn't too bad. In the Garden Bungalows you can hear a 24 hours-generator.

Review 121:This is the place to be...! Wonderful, new resort with a very, very friendly staff. Excellent choice of delicious meals, free drinking water. Wonderful beach, nice pool, many beach chairs. Also a great location for kids: Kids Club with lovely teachers, supervised Kids dinner in the evening! A lot of activities (village trips, market, mountain hikes...) Snorkeling gear, paddles and kajaks are free. Touching musical welcome and goodbye! It's hard to leave this wonderful place...

Review 122:Should have stay longer than 4 nights.

Review 123:One of best place I've ever been. The resort is perfectly managed, staff are extremely friendly and the location are simply where paradise should be.
