Reviews for Sankt Helene Holiday Center
Review 1:The rooms are very dated and not so clean. The breakfast is sober and very pricey for what you get. The complex looks like a youth camp. To get to the beach you have to take the stairs downhill, not so easy with strollers.
Review 2:The rooms are spacious. The town had different nice restaurants and bars.
Review 3:The overall facility is showing its age. Most itmes are looking pretty tired on the outside. The grounds upkeep is fair.
Review 4:Fully equipped apartment. No daily maid service, so left alone, nice. country / garden setting. Also a family vacation location with farm animals and activities. Very close to popular beach. Huge parking lot. Best internet access I have had in east Denmark. Good TV selection. Each room has full table, work station. Coin operated laundry service. Friendly staff and you get a feeling of meetig old friends when you meet them each day. Very close to small village with a few restaurants, shops, and market.
Review 5:Very run down. Impossible ladder. 240 kr for bed sheets for one night,
Review 6:It was not well kept up. Many items needed painting and it seemed notwell cared for. One of the burners on the stove blew the circuit breakerwhen turned on. No dust pan. Smelled like smoke when we arrived. Thepull out couch meant for a double bed did not work(as a result my wifeand I had to sleep in the loft on the twin beds there).
Review 7:We liked the natural setting setting about 1 mile from the beach. Weliked the fact that there were many families there as well as youthgroups. We liked that it was not crowded. We liked that it was about 7km to the summer house of a friend. We liked the location where it is inDenmark. We liked the freedom to wander around the grounds. The mainmeeting rooms were available all night.
Review 8:Overall fine - so comments are not of major importance:Office opening hours for check in were short (only 3 - 6 p.m.). We had to put on linnen ourselves (common at hostels and basically OK but at the price a bit too simple). We had to rent and pay for a four-person family room although we were two adults only so kind of waist and maybe why we found the price a bit high.
Review 9:Close to the two summer houses where our friends were staying for longerperiods than us (only two days).
Review 10:At the time of booking it was not clear that the price (2600 DKK/night)did not include bed linen and breakfast as well as cleaning of theappartment. This added extra costs E.g 80 dkk breakfast per person. Thiswas neither noted in the booking confirmaion we received fromBooking.com
Review 11:It is close to beautiful nature of northern sealand in short distance tothe beach. Lots of activities for kids. We had a familyappartmentincluding a kitchen which offered plenty of space for 6 persons (2adults, 4 kids).
Review 12:The ceiling of the double bed mezzanine room is too low in the apartment The price didn't include the bed linen Breakfast self service makes available a lot of juice or yogurt bottles but we didn’t know since when they have been opened. It would have been better to make them served in different recipients as it is done in other hotels.
Review 13:Location near the sea and nature Good service and price for 6 persons Good breakfast and diner buffet.
Review 14:Would have been helpful with a fridge in the room as we had to leave before breakfast is served and we could have used one to keep a few things cold overnight.
Review 15:Only stayed one night so didn't really get to know the place, would have been nice to be there a few days as it seemed very friendly and a well organised place.
Review 16:Relaxing
