Reviews for Akzent Hotel Kaiserworth
Review 1:I appreciated the warm, friendly atmosphere at the Hotel Kaiserworth. I am an older single traveller and the staff were without exception, kind and helpful; although I speak no German this was not a problem. The hotel is situated on one of the main squares, so it is easy to reach the many interesting places in Goslar on foot. It could perhaps be noisy but I had asked for a quiet room and it was. Most evenings I enjoyed a good meal in the restaurant. I would certainly go again.
Review 2:Room was rather small
Review 3:Superb historic hotel in the centre of Goslar in the Harz mountains. Good breakfast, closed parking. Views over the old rooftops.
Review 4:The rooms were very warm during the night because the lack of AC.
Review 5:Great hotel in the centre of Goslar, lots of restaurants nearby and things to see. The hotel offered small but comfortable rooms, our dog liked it as well
Review 6:There was no alternative to the rather soft (personal opinion) pillow, so I didn't sleep that well.
Review 7:Nice building, with a great location in the middle of the town.
Review 8:The decoration inside the hotel is very much overdone and not necessary, the rooms are interesting enough in them selves. The style dos not correspond with a 4 stars hotel.
Review 9:It is a very dutiful old building.
Review 10:TV did'nt work - 'no signal'. WIFI not very good. You had to have an acces code for for each person in the room.
Review 11:very large room, with beautiful furniture and decoration. Very good breakfast, late open bar , staff very nice. Car park just near by,
Review 12:The attitude of some of the staff at the reception was unfriendly: e.g. reaction to questions about town . were impatient But some others were very nice.
Review 13:The location is wonderful, right at the central square of this lovely town in a 16th century house. The room was quiet nice.
Review 14:Bathroom much too small for a four-star hotel. Wlan was quite slow. Our room was near the exhaust of the kitchen extractor, so food smells entered the room. Oddly the hotel cannot process foreign bank cards. They accept credit cards though.
Review 15:Excellent location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Nice big room.
Review 16:Beautiful, right in the middle of the town
Review 17:Nothing
Review 18:The location and the historik building
Review 19:Location, amenities, staff, breakfast
Review 20:- No minibar - No kettle - Limescaled shower
Review 21:- Very central - Large room - Free Wifi - Great breakfast
Review 22:Very small en-suite shower room in Room 104; could hardly swing a cat!
Review 23:Wonderful location and important that one can drive to front of hotel to drop off and pick up baggage. Cuisine very good and staff generally helpful and welcoming. Goslar a most interesting and colourful medieval town.
Review 24:Unable to receive radio channel on TV
Review 25:Great location on the square. Bedroom comfortable, bottles of sparkling water provided each day and you are able to see the special clock striking at the specified times in the square. The breakfast includes a wide range of foods and is served until 11 am each day
Review 26:No tea or coffee making facility in the room.
Review 27:A lovely 16th century building in the centre of Goslar, full of character. A spacious, light and comfortable room with lots of storage space. The en-suite was very good with an excellent shower. A first class restaurant and a very good breakfast buffet. We had stayed here before and would do so again.
Review 28:- Tour guides right outside window - spotlights glaring in window - no tea/coffee in room - poor / slow wifi - outdated rooms - VERY small bathroom - the cleaner had better English than reception - no sight of pool or other advertised facilities - EXPENSIVE PARKING
Review 29:Nothing different from any other hotel
Review 30:Free Wi-Fi was available, but there was no coverage in our room (corner room on the second floor).
Review 31:The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was right on the market square with the Christmas markets out the front.
Review 32:The temp. in the pool was only 20 C. which is unacceptable! The dinner restaurant was not the best.
Review 33:Location! In the middle of Goslar. Perfect! The breakfast was perfect. Good internet connection in the room. As agreed we got a big room with 3 beds - very good.
Review 34:the pillows were terrible. The room was on the 4th floor and warm. If the rate only includes the 4th floor small rooms, you should indicate that on the websites
Review 35:the location on the square to historical places and the cafes was great. breakfast was very nice.
Review 36:Best location in Goslar. Nice rooms facing the market place (if you ask for view) in an authentic historic luxuryhotel. Excellent breakfast. If you like cosy old hotels from the medieval you won't find better
Review 37:The lack of a residents' lounge or bar (other than the cafe which also doubled up as a breakfast restaurant. But the overriding issue was that the hotel in close by the main Church in Gaslar whose bells chime every 15 minutes and then ring the hour ALL NIGHT. Do not stay in this hotel if you are a light sleeper. We had a room at the front, but doubt it would be any better at the back.
Review 38:The central location in Goslar, friendly staff and excellent cusine.
Review 39:On my last day, I left my luggage to pickl up later in the afternoon. I was shocked when I returned to find that the locked room my cases were left in was now unlocked and anyone could have taken my luggage!
Review 40:Great location. Helpful staff.
Review 41:I've seen reviews being grummpy about the parking, which is in acompound just round the corner. To be honest, if you choose to stay in amedieval building situated on a medieval market square, what do youexpect! It didn't worry me, and I thought that they had done a good jobbeing able to offer any parking at all!
Review 42:The food was excellent, the position was excellent, the comfort wasgreat and the staff were great. Price was also good value for money.
Review 43:See above !!!!!
Review 44:Years ago, we were there and we liked it very much. There was the"Dukatenkeller", and a very nice restaurant. But now - the food is poor! Breakfast very, very bad and the coffee undrinkalbe ! When we askedfor "Milchkaffee", we had to pay this separately !!! We stayed there for4 days - and on 2 days, we had breakfast in another location (Henry'srestaurant, very good). For sure, Kaiserworth did not give us any moneyback !! They closed this wonderful area "Dukatenkeller" - it is onlyopen for separate booking events. Also, they bought "Brusttuch" - andthe wonderful restaurant there is also closed!!!! So, we will never everreturn to Kaiserworth any more
Review 45:It's a beautiful old hotel right in the center of the town. The service and ambience are impeccable! A hotel like this is many places would be 4 times the price.
Review 46:This was definitely one of the finest hotels we have ever visited. Thelocation was the best. Looking at the Brandenburg Gate while relaxingwith a beer, was special. The staff was so attentive, hotel isbeautiful, food delicious. We had a wonderful time. Would certainly comeback. We highly recommend this hotel.
Review 47:The building is 500 years old and is therefore very 'quaint' with a lot of creaking corridors and interesting nooks and crannies. Our room on the second floor was very comfortable and thoughtfully set out although my mother's single room on the 1st floor was small and a bit chilly. Our room overlooked the market square. I imagine that in summer the square gets noisy with all the outdoor cafes. The restaurant meal was extremely good (much better than breakfast which seemed a bit haphazard) and for the quality, presentation and atmosphere, the price was most acceptable. Over all, it's a very special hotel.
Review 48:No gym, sauna or spa and lacked a sofa lounge area, however I still loved my stay in Hotel Kaiseworth and would definately return.
Review 49:The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and very obliging. An excellent hotel to relax in. The beds were so comfortable and bar facilities were open till the early hours. Excellent for conferences and small party groups.

Review 56:Excellent location, very helpful
Review 57:Beautiful building, Great location on the Marktplatz.
Review 58:Loved the hotel - beautiful 500 year-old building.
Review 59:It was an experience and we would very much like to come back - perhaps for a longer stay.
Review 60:no kettle in the room
