Reviews for Hotel An den Bleichen
Review 1:Poor WiFi signal that meant it was difficult to use most of the time. Not enough space in the breakfast room when the hotel was very busy
Review 2:Staff were friendly. Comfortable, clean and quiet room with balcony and a garden view
Review 3:The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It helps a lot if you can speak the language, English competence is not strong with some of the older staff members. But I am certain they would have made sure that somone would interpret. There were at least two dogs in the house during the 5 days we stayed there. Luckily we are not allergic to dogs.
Review 4:For someone who relies on trains for travel, the hotel was situated a long way from the Bahnhof. However, there were 2 big negatives for me. The first was the curtains. They allowed the light to flood through the room once the sun got up, and as it was the middle of summer, this meant the room was fully lit up by about 5am every morning. I prefer a dark room. The second negative related to the fact that one of the tables in the garden which the guests were allowed to use in the morning to have breakfast was very close to the window of my room. People who used that table could see into my room, so I had to keep the curtains closed during that time. In addition, you obviously could the whole conversation between the guests. In the morning, I prefer a bit of piece and quiet. However, I do understand that this type of facility in the morning does appeal to people who enjoy towns beginning with the prefix Bad as these places have particular characteristics.
Review 5:Like all hotels in Germany, it was clean and everything worked without any problem.
Review 6:Smallest bathroom ever encountered outside a ferry cabin!
Review 7:Quiet hotel about 15 minutes walk from Altstadt. There is a bus service just outside, though less frequent in evening. Airy room with usable balcony. Good breakfast. We left early on the last morning; a drinks tray and a packed snack of fruit was delivered to our room the previous evening.
Review 8:Nothing.
Review 9:Everything was great. The staff were charming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the location was handy for the city yet quiet and peaceful, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Splendid!
Review 10:About a 20 minute walk from the railway station. However there wereplenty of taxis, fare to hotel about 7 euros.
Review 11:A very clean hotel in a quiet area. Very good buffet breakfast.
Review 12:Excellent comfort hotel with friendly staff, quiet and cozy rooms, great breakfast, 15 min leisurely walk to the city center. We'll come again!
Review 13:Quiet location, beautiful hotel, free parking and easy walk to the city.
Review 14:There were no fire alarms on our room or in the corridor. The toilet was very small.
Review 15:A very nice place with a good staff and a exellent breakfast.
Review 16:quite good breakfast
Review 17:Everything was great - the staff, the rooms, location. Especially wonderful mood and sense before Christmas - everything like in a house from the fairy-tale.
Review 18:Very little. No lift, but staff assisted with bags.
Review 19:A delightful find, off the beaten track opposite a large park, set back off the street with trees and plants everywhere. Staff were all great (even letting me torture them with my German) and breakfast was first-rate. It is a 20 minute walk into the centre of town, but you would not want to drive into the town at any time - the only way to see it is on foot. So, walk, and enjoy the town, its restaurants and its harbour area.
Review 20:Room a little warm but nothing else.
Review 21:Convenient and quiet location with short walk to the city. Good place from which to visit north coast and Rugen. Friendly and helpful staff. A generally comfortable hotel which we would recommend.
Review 22:Very friendly and kind staff. Spacious room, very clean, attractive, free parking, easy to walk to town, super breakfast...one of the best on our one month trip.
Review 23:Very little,I regret my own lack of language skills but given thedifficulties that the peoples of the former ddr have faced since the"Wende"I look forward to re-visiting Mecklenburg-Verpommerenin the near future.
Review 24:Excellent staff who behaved impeccably.Clean rooms with no expensespared to make the guest welcome. The best and most varied breakfastselection that I have experienced in many years of travel,
Review 25:The bathroom's size is too small, and it is poorly equipped. The cost isabove the quality offered.
Review 26:The surrounding area (streets, water bodies) is charming. The breakfastwas generous. The views from the room are great.
Review 27:It is a fair walk into Stralsund and as there was no restaurant nearby this should be taken into account. We had bikes so no problem for us. We had difficulty finding this hotel but this was probably due to our not having a decent map or sat-nav! If you go prepared it shouldnt be a problem.
Review 28:A pleasant hotel with a lovely small garden just outside Stralsund. Parking was a bonus and there was a bike parking place. Comfortable room with good size balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was good with fair choice available. Stralsund is fantastic with lots of interesting buildings and plenty of restaurant choices.
Review 29:Booked this hotel as we needed internet access. Although promisedthroughout hotel it didn't work. We saw other guests in lobby withlaptops though. Room very small but balcony compensated somewhat.Bathroom was very small with a ridiculously large basin taking up mostof the space. Parking spaces very small but on street parking available.Overpriced for what you get.

Review 31:Very crowded breakfast room, no place to sit initially. Had to be resolved by other guests moving to sit outside. Very noisy fan in the bathroom.
Review 32:Nice genuine rooms. Nice neighborhood.
Review 33:The hotel is in a quiet spot ten minutes easy walk from the walled old town of Stralsund. Modern rooms with balconies, very comfortable, excellent buffet style breakfast.
Review 34:No elevator. Sheets and towels washed with scented laundry detergent which bothered my allergies and had me coughing.
Review 35:The room was very nice and had a balcony. The breakfast was wonderful.
