Review 1：A little far from the station to walk, so best to arrive in a car. Otherwise nothing to fault. :)

Review 3：A gracious host with a great sense of humor! Excellent breakfast with a variety of choices. Cottage was perfect for our needs - thoroughly enjoyed the experience for two nights. Great location - within easy walking distance of main attractions in Eisenach.

Review 5：Very Nice House. Our room was a house in the garden. Nice breakfast buffet in great old kitchen. If you like a long walk through the woods (uphill!) you can walk to the Wartburg.

Review 6：We had booked two double rooms for four adults, but were given the family suite in the basement, with only one bathroom and the second bedroom is accessed through the first. We were traveling with my husband's brother and wife, and Herr Bomberg said he assumed that they were children, since the last name was the same. However, at the time of booking, booking.com asks if the guests are adults or children, and also asks for children's ages. Since it was only for one night, it wasn't a huge problem, just a bit disappointing and confusing on arrival.

Review 7：The neighborhood is charming and convenient. There is plenty of parking on the street. Herr Bomberg recommended a good Croatian restaurant and loaned us flashlights for the walk through the woods. We paid the 8 Euros for breakfast and it was good, except for the orange juice, which was turning bad.

Review 8：We enjoyed our short stay in Eisenach in this beautiful old house. The owners are very friendly, the room(s) big and richly decorated, and we had a great breakfast. The Bach- and Luther-house is in walking distance. If we drive in this direction, we plan to come again.

Review 9：Creation of a relaxed atmosphere. Pleasant outdoor eating area. Situated in a leafy area of town but within easy walking distance of tourist attractions.

Review 11：Special place to stay. Historic villa in an ancient villa quarter of Eisenach. Spacious rooms with tea/ coffee facilities. We did not have the little separate house, but were offered rooms in the main building, which were good. Good breakfast buffet in historic room. Close to nice restaurant next to a pond. Center of Eisenach close by as well as Wartburg. Eisenach is also a good place to explore the surrounding countryside of Thueringen.

Review 13：A lovely property in a historical district of the town. Lovely self contained suite comprising of a bedroom, entrance lobby and separate bathroom. Great Whirlpool bath. Very clean. Friendly owner. Fantastic value for money. Strongly recommended.

Review 17：My family was offered a big house 100 m away from the main hotel, and it was more than great. It is an old house with antic furniture set, but with newer bathrooms. Not to mention gorgeous surrounding natural environtments.

Review 18：The welcome and warmth of our hosts set our stay on the right foot. The room was spacious, the beds comfy, the WiFi good, and the breakfast scrumptious. We (mother and son) had very dirty clothes from a week on the pilgrim trail and our hostess put them through the washing machine and dryer for us. A bonus!

Review 19：Noise from the kind of pump could be heard for most of the night. Strange breakfast: lots of open jars with any kind of jam, sour milk served in already open box. Strange place. No private bathroom. We were lucky as at the ground floor three was nobody else but us. To summarize: stay away.

Review 22：The room was super comfortable, ours had a sink and stove complete with plenty of plates, bowls, and silverware. There were also many used books on a small shelf for leisure reading. A very cozy room.

Review 23：The location, the staff and the accommodation was all incredible. We were only going to stay one night however we loved the place so much we extended our stay. Highly recommended to anyone, families, couples or groups. Beautiful place!!!! We will definitely stay there again!!!!

Review 24：I did not like being shown a couture room and getting a plain off-site space. All the other people at breakfast were also displaced and not staying in the main house. I also didn't feel welcome to use the garden amenities shown in the pics. If u don't mind that it's a fine place.

Review 25：I liked the idea of staying in a boutique B&B. when we arrived we were shown another much simpler house without antiques or classic decor as described. The owner was very helpful with directions and eatery suggestions.

Review 35：This hotel is really marvellous and good for all the prestations. The boss is very kind and the hospitality is very good. All is very good and you must go there. Very quiet. Big breafast , all you want....... be sure to do the best choice .. Se?ge and gloria from france.

Review 36：The staff couldn't have been more welcoming; we even got a ride to the Wartburg and a tour around the neighbourhood. Breakfast was very good; particularly the salami. Never seen such a variety of drinks on offer.

Review 37：Everything. Nice room, very nice bathroom and nice kitchen. Kind owner, and you can meet a good friend there. About 20 minutes walk from the main station, Wartburg, and city center. Perfect.

Review 38：Stayed in guesthouse away from the main villa. Rented “apartment flat ”with solo use of the bathroom and kitchen both of which must be accessedfrom the common entrance to the house. The house is very clutteredgiving appearance of storage unit rather than a rental unit. The kitchenhad many excess plates, silverware and other supplies all of whichneeded to be cleaned prior to use. The advertised dishwasher was brokenso we had to hand wash everything . One of the bed frames had brokenslats demonstrating a lack of upkeep to the apartment. This is not aunit for the bashful – some windows lack covers and can allow pryingeyes to peer in (especially the bathroom). If the owner were to reducethe apartment to items that would actually be necessary to accommodatethe number of guests he rents to this would vastly improve theexperience.
