Reviews for Villa Savoy

Review 1:Doctor and nurse are rude and never answer requests. Director defense them as official authority. Food is uneatable. All main procedures are in other (outside) places.

Review 2:Some staff (but not medical) is polite.

Review 3:The sauna was closed. Coffee at the breakfast was not really good.

Review 4:The room was clean and nice. TV had almost 500 multi-lingual channels. Big bathroom. We also took CO2 bath and massage which were very good.

Review 5:Although free wifi was advertised as accessible throughout the hotel, our room was a total black spot and our digital television couldn't receive any coherent signal either. We could get wifi in the lobby and in the breakfast room, which was a useful distraction from the very ordinary breakfast offerings.

Review 6:Friendly greeting with complimentary apple juice. Large room.

Review 7:The rooms were adequate, not special. I was given the worst room in the place. Breakfast was poor, coffee terrible.

Review 8:The hotel was away from the main town.

Review 9:The music in the corridor was hearable in the room. But only a little bit.

Review 10:Very kind receptionist lady Great breakfast Nice hotel

Review 11:Breakfast.

Review 12:Bright, clean, spacious room.

Review 13:Fron Desk Personell is excellent there.

Review 14:Parking lots - only a few paid parkibg places with not easy access if one or two cars are already in. Public parking nearby always occupied.

Review 15:The restaurant closes way too early for dinner. The spa center of thehotel is inefficient. Practically no treatments are available on thespot without a booking well ahead. Spa center reception keeps tellingthat "everything is fully booked" which is obviouslyuntrue: the facility is empty. The truth is that they simply lacksstaff (nurses). Being there on Saturday and especially Sunday is awaste of time.

Review 16:Location.

Review 17:Only the odour in bath room after daily cleaning (smelly rag) and water slightly leaking from the toilet. Both minor problems.

Review 18:Top location (very close from center and still heavenly quiet), very nice and attentive staff (especially blond Jana at reception), nice room (size and equipment) and VERY GOOD breakfast (choice). Ideal for a short trip to lovely town Marianske Lazne.

Review 19:Sitting at same table for every meal. Outdated spa offers. Same as100 years ago, but perhaps that is what people coming to the Czechspas want.

Review 20:Quiet location, quiet hotel with friendly staff.

Review 21:Their staff in the breakfast room could have been a little more quiet when arguing about work-related issues. An invoice printed on two little pieces of paper taped together doesn't look very professional at a 4-star hotel.

Review 22:Quite happy on the whole.

Review 23:Many old guests, but its quite common in spa town ;)

Review 24:The attention to the client was excellent. Mrs. Jana at the receptionwas very nice, helpful and Mrs. Jaroslava at wellness also. Our Hotelroom was very clean and the Bar of the hotel newly restored and modern. Also snacks in the bar were very tasty. Hotel is quiet, in the naturebut just a minute from city center.

Review 25:The Hotel is very clean and excellent "value-for-money". Don't expectinternational luxury standards but rather a hotel management intent onpleasing a middle aged clientele who expect a friendly reception andfair pricing. The location is a 5-10 mminute walk from the centre andmain spa. Parking available w/o charge nearby or on the road in fron ofthe hotel. The in-house treatments are good but more or less atinternational prices..book a package if possible. We are veryexperienced & demanding travellers and can recommend "Silva". The only"downside" was that the price for our "mid sized dog" at 20% of guestprice per night was a little high in comparison to other charges.

Review 26:No swimming pool

Review 27:Friendly staff, food.

Review 28:very nice place, a large room, comfortable beds

Review 29:Everything almost perfect: tasty food, clean room but awfulinternet connection. Dont go to the Hotel Silva if wifi isimportant thing to you.

Review 30:Bad Internet connection from our room

Review 31:All is fine.
